Almighty God, we thank you for having a place for Caylee where there is no pain, no sorrow, no weeping, no death.  We praise you for receiving her into your warm embrace filled with love and peace.
On this day Father, we wanted peace and justice on earth for Caylee.  Yet for reasons we will never understand during this journey here, it was not to be.  We rest in the assurance of knowing your ways are not our ways, your thoughts are not our thoughts, and your time is not our time.  In the deep places of our spirits we know that is good.  We know too you are a just God and vengence belongs solely to you -- that too is good.  I just humbly ask you to cause all whose faith and love is shaken this day to remember we must continue to stand for what is right and true, no matter the pain and hurt it may cause.  For alas, there will be another innocent who will need voices of the righteous in order to be heard.  Heal our souls so that once again we will rise to shout for justice from the roof tops.  Again Lord, we thank you for receiving Caylee to her eternal loving home and we thank you for sharing her with each of us here.  Amen and Amen.

Amen and Thank You Sister

I want to hear from this jury...something is not right....did they get paid off? wth?

Nope, I do not believe they were paid off.  I truly believe they were sequestered six weeks, too long. They missed Springtime, July 4th, the jurors had no patience to do they job. That is my belief.  They did not have the will or patience to read or even questionthe testimony.

They did not do their job, pure and simple, is my opinion. They wanted to jump into their swimming pool or go to the beach.

My first thought when considering the jury was also that they just want to go home.

Any thoughts on why one juror was crying when the verdict was read? Cuz s/he was so flippin' happy for Casey? Or they were relieved to be done?

What can we do to ensure that this does not happen again.  I truly believe in the judicial system...I believe in evidence being presented by the prosecution and the defense is there to poke holes in it...not create a circus.  The Anthony's were all involved in this circus and they all knew that this was to create confusion...this should not be legal and really needs to be addressed.

What kind of proof do they need to charge her again...doesn't this reopen the case?  What if they found the hyoid bone or something like that...would that be enough?  Are they now going to charge George?  Someone has to be held accountable for the loss of a beautiful life.  This is NOT how the justice system was suppose to be.  What can WE do?

I am so sad that I can not even begin to express it. I lost a child, and I know that pain. Nothing that KC or the rest of them did resembled any of the pain I felt.  It did not and does not resemble the pain that anyone I know who has lost a child had and has. I sit here and sob over the lack of justice for a little girl who loved her mother and that mother killed her. Why? I even question this country that we would allow this to happen. Not that long ago a trial would  not have been needed - because we KNEW what was RIGHT and what was WRONG. We seem to have forgotten. I really want to just leave this Godforsaken country - it has so little to offer anymore.

Cannot say I blame them.  I could not have done what they did, although I would have voted guilty, regardless if the statep roved to me 100% how Caylee died.  Circumstantial evidence speaks very loudly to me in combination with other evidence.  I would have hung them.

Zoo,

The jurors had an attitude Smile that is my opinion. They were not spend one more night in the Hotel, is my opinion.
They missed the 4th of July, and they were not going to miss anything else.  IMO.

They did not do their jobs. They did not even ask for any testimony to be read back. They wanted out of this trial and
the only way was to vote not guilty and scram.  This is my belief.

She could go on national tv and say she killed her and describe in detail how it was done and the state could do NOTHING. She will not ever be charged again since we do not allow it.

Hi Monkeys,
I just had to post, here among friends, to encourage you.  I have not watched any television since the verdict was read.  I am heartsick to think that 12 people did not see what was so obvious to me.  It will take time, but I promise you all, there will be no true happiness for those who lie and steal and murder.  The entire Anthony family will get what is coming to them.

Please don't bear the burden of the sin that is KC's to bear.  Don't let your heart be filled with anger.  We all prayed together, and we don't stop believing in God just because he didn't answer our prayers the way we hoped he would.  Hug your kids, your grandkids, your nieces, nephews, and love them the way Caylee should have been loved.  I am upset, hurt, devastated, and even angry that it seems as though she will go unpunished.  However, I am gently reminded by my own sweet daughter that vengeance is the Lord's.

I love you all.   an angelic monkey

Thank You you said that well

Don't forget Judge Perry withheld a motion for mistrial. He is still sitting on it... and hasn't made a ruling. How does that work?

He did say during the trial... he could announce his ruling on that after the verdict was read.

Carpe what good would a mistrial do?
Help me out here someone.
tia
IF its a mistrial does that mean she will be retried?

I really don't see that happening this is over she has been found not guilty

Wait I be wrong!

Looks like JP has overturned verdicts before

" Superior Court Judge Robert Perry raised the unusual prospect that if he does not agree with jury convictions, he has the option to change the verdicts or order a new trial. He said he has done this in other cases."

Oh please God, let him do what the jury did not.
I think we all need to pray for this...what has happened today is just so wrong...

She was acquitted on the charge, so they can not recharge her.  That would be double jeopardy.  They would have to come up with another charge.

Some murder trisl where there are more than 1 victim, they will not prosecute for one of the victims so that if an acquittal comes down they have the other victim to try to get a conviction on, but here, there was only 1 victim.

Unless they come up with something unrelated to Caylee's murder, they cannot  charge her.

has the lady who says she's Caylee's paternal grandmother tested yet?

I was just thinking - at least with the OJ trial we had the Goldman's that have not allowed OJ to "forget" and brought about the civil suit.  I HOPE & PRAY that Caylee IS her granddaughter and she brings a civil suit against Casey & the Ants for wrongful death.  At least then someone (relative) would be standing up for Caylee even if it wasn't 100% genuine and selfless.

Just think... now the jurors can go online and see EVERYTHING about this case that they weren't allowed to know about......

Wonder if any of that info, had they known, would have changed their verdict?

Hmmm...

Will be watching news to see if any of them are shocked by what they weren't allowed to know and see... regarding Casey.  Starting with her behavior in court while not in their presence.
