they actually look more like what we call "tank farms" where oil, petro products are kept, Those to me, are really big for water towers.

Don't know if the direction would be wrong, but perhaps they are the tanks at San Nicolas . . . I posted this earlier:

Both Oranjestad and Barcadera's ports are operated by the Aruba Ports Authority, but the port at San Nicolas is operated by the Coastal Aruba Refining Company and includes oil terminals and reef berths. Barcadera is an industrial port.

From the center of the forests of Helvitia
Came a nocturnal seer with visions of the Caquetio

Chimera took him to a place of mystery
Near the axis of the isle’s history

An illusory scene can not be forgotten

A motionless body buried near agua’s source
Hidden in the alluvium by those with no remorse

Caquetío
Encyclopædia Britannica Article

also spelled  Caiquetio, or Caiquetia,   Indians of northwestern Venezuela living along the shores of Lake Maracaibo at the time of the Spanish conquest. They moved inland to avoid enslavement by the Spaniards but were eventually destroyed as were their neighbours, the Quiriquire and the Jirajara.

The Caquetío and the Jirajara spoke an Arawakan language, and their cultures were quite similar. They were intensive farmers, growing their staple foods—corn (maize), sweet potatoes, and manioc—in irrigated fields. They also hunted extensively and gathered cactus fruits and other wild plants. Their villages of thatched huts were laid out in rows and blocks of two to four houses each. Clothing consisted of a small genital covering, various ornaments, and body paint. The major craft was pottery; weaving was of little importance because so little clothing was worn. Little is known of their social and political organization except that there were various chiefs and apparently a class of nobles who may have practiced polygyny. They worshiped the Sun and the Moon, and human sacrifices were apparently made to them. Each family also worshiped its household idols.

alluvium
Encyclopædia Britannica Article

material deposited by rivers. It is usually most extensively developed in the lower part of the course of a river, forming floodplains and deltas, but may be deposited at any point where the river overflows its banks or where the velocity of a river is checked—for example, where it runs into a lake.

Alluvium consists of silt, sand, clay, and gravel and often contains a good deal of organic matter. It therefore yields very fertile soils such as those of the deltas of the Mississippi, the Nile, the Ganges and Brahmaputra, and the Huang rivers. In some regions alluvial deposits contain gold, platinum, or gemstones and the greater part of the world's supply of tin ore (cassiterite).

1st thing that popped in my head was the desalination plant of Aruba
Could be someone pulling our leg but worth checking out if it helps bring Natalee home or gets answers for her family.

near the axis of the isle's history

(from www.geographia.com/aruba/history.htm)

The year 1824 saw the discovery of gold near Bushiribana. The ruins of a nineteenth-century smelting plant still survive in Balashi northwest of the Spanish Lagoon near the center of the island. The gold rush continued until 1916 when the mines finally became so unprofitable that they had to be shut down. Not long afterwards, however, in 1924, another valuable commodity replaced it, black gold --oil. Aruba became home to one of the world's largest refineries. The strength of the economic boom that followed made San Nicholas into a major commercial center and the island's second largest city. To this day, Aruba's two main industries have been oil and tourism, and when the refineries were closed down in 1985 due to the worldwide glut in petroleum, the emphasis on tourism became especially important. Even after oil refining was resumed in 1991, the island continued to invest heavily in tourist development, and new projects are still going on all the time.

Just trying to make some solid connections to all of this . . . any thoughts?

I am in complete agreement here.  Maybe it is a red herring,  but I agree it might help get some answers.  What have we got to lose?

Hello Monkeys,

with regard to this question. Espionage wrote over at BFN and then poster Reality refered to them as MIP6.....at least this was what I remeber. I went back earlier today to find the posts but they were deleted.
