Susan Smith - she was sent to prison.  I'll get the specifics, hold on.  By the way, I knew she was guilty from her first crocodile tear interview.

Yes, thank you.  That case haunted me.  They made a film about how the children would look as the car went into the water!!!

I don't think I could have watched that...I remember vividly watching TV when the LE brought the car out of the lake....I was sobbing...literally sobbing.....

I hope Caylee's body can be found.  It will help the case.  Casey seems to have locked herself in her own fantasy world where she is absolved of all sins, so I doubt she will confess.

Susan Smith...Oh man!  I was just sick over that one.  Those precious little babies trapped in the car.  I had nightmares about that one.  I don't think she should have been allowed to live, but then again I liked it when they nicknamed our electric chair in Alabama "Yellow Mama".  Too bad we don't use it any longer.

What I remember most is the gasp of horror that went up from the crowd when that wonderful sheriff announced that they had arrested the mother.  And one black lady weeping and saying, "Why didn't she bring them to me.  I would have raised them."  Susan Smith hurt a lot of people.

Interesting that you say that...I received an email today from a friend who lives in Sanford FL. She wanted the link for TES as she heard about the search and wanted to make a donation. I sent out an email to everyone asking them to make a donation...even if it's $5.00   She remarked that she and friends were discussing the case...not that they are really following it like we are...but several in her group think Casey has simply blocked out her evil deed and doesn't remember what she did with Caylee...selective amnesia?? Interesting theory anyway

I remember that first interview on TV with Susan Smith crying and saying bring my babies home.  I told my husband, she either killed her babies or sold them to get on with her life.  My husband said no way.

Reality bites at her once in awhile, like when she woke up sweating from bad dreams while with Tony L.  She knows what she did, but the horror gets pushed aside.  The more support she gets from people like that thing Cindy and the guy who missed his calling, the clown Baez - the more it gets pushed aside.

I felt so awful for her husband......that young man broke my heart.  Susan, like Casey has hurt so many people....I know families find ways to move forward.....I don't know if I ever could....
