Yea, but the off-white stuff in her hand looks like waded gloves.  She probably took them off after retrieving the chock to answer the phone.  ????

Good point but what I've seen in this case is that they use gloves and put items in plastic bags that are then put in paper bags.

LE in this photo may have taken off their gloves after putting the item(s) in the brown bag?

Nikki - it did go through, that's why I took the photo enlarged and lightened it up so we could see better.

Why aren't they using gloves to handle what they are taking from the trunk?  Is this just an excercise to upset the Anthonys?   

Because in this photo, the items have ALREADY been removed and placed in the brown paper bag (most likely removed wearing gloves..put in a plastic bag, then in the brown bag).

About the Detective holding something while the officer has the bag of evidence, she would ahve gloves if it was evidence. I think it was a light.

Regarding the "DNA identical" hairs found in caseys' car and one being dead and one alive, does mean that Caylee could have the same uncle/father or father/grandfather? Is this why casey wouldn't see Lee in jail?

Probably not.  She is not wearing gloves.  If it was evidence, I think she would have gloves on.  Probably her own phone.

I read on the news report when Casey arrived home that both Gearge and Cindy drove their cars into the garage. I assume they are still there...this probably came from the Orlando Sentinel site.

Don't quote me, but didn't George ask Casey when she would be home, and she said either later tonight or tomorrow. Can't remember Casey's exact answer that she gave George.
Anyway, my point......why not wait til tomorrow (Wednesday) to get the tool since Casey would be home....

Klaas thank you! - that's a great enlargement - the shape of the item in the bag looks like it could be a choke.  Woman is holding cell phone - would she be contacting le?

 

I just talked to hubby about this "choke" issue.  He cannot understand why a "choke" would be in the trunk of a car.  He claims a choke is a device in the fuel system of the engine which allows the gas and air mixture to be controlled either mechanically or electronically to aid in starting a cold engine.

I'd love to see the full set of photos - you'd really think that if the interest was in trace evidence the woman would be in full evidence collecting-hair covering regalia. Makes me wonder if the interest is in evidence like chloroform or chemicals (which I still wouldn't handle gloveless, but again, I'd like to see the full set of photos since just one can be misleading) and if in reviewing this case LE decided that they wanted this piece to further close down the timeline - i.e. all of these elements show chloroform, therefore this had to have happened within a specific set of days. I'd think that the gas cans would back this up, but if I were LE I would not leave any stone unturned.

George should know how many chocks he had.  If all were collected, and none showed chloroform residue, what could that tell us?

1.  George lied about the # of chocks, disposed of one.

2.  George was not in Casey's trunk, George lied.  Timeline off.

One chock shows chloroform residue:

1.  Corroborates George's trunk story, but adds to theory George found Caylee.

That is George's story relating to 16th of June where he says he saw Caylee and Casey leave @ 12:50 ....... one in which I have always doubted.
