Very bizarre testimony from Lee. If there was nothing inappropriate going on between the two of them, why the secrecy? And why was he "hurt"? This is all very strange.

I will say this aside from this case when it comes to the bonds of brothers-sisters. I grew up with my two half sisters and the one most closest to my age, we knew everything about one another that our parents never did. We protected each other and confided in each other and we covered for each other.

I would dare say that Lee knows exactly who the dad is. I think he knows exactly how Casey got pregnant. The guilt is probably killing him that he is not saying it as well as being accused of something he never did. He was Casey's bud and has now been accused by Baez as sexually molesting his sister.

I think the defense strategy of accusing Lee & George is tearing the family apart and devastating them. To help Casey, they are destroying their souls.

Okay.  IF Lee was 'normal'... I could see that much emotion at regret for not going to visit Caylee at birth, since she is gone forever now.  You know, the 'wish I would have', 'if I had only known'.  I think a 'normal' uncle might respond that way.  (My brothers might, if their niece had died and they had missed an important part of her life (pics of Uncle Lee holding her hours after birth.)  )  Part of grieving.

Sadly, I am not at all sure Lee is 'normal'.  I wish he were, for Caylee's sake.

Lee Anthony is furthering the defence strategy  of creating reasonable doubt in the minds of jury members in regards to the sexual abuse allegations in Baez' opening statement without implicating himself in any wrongdoing.

Or insane boundaries which SHOULD NOT exist. WHY in the world would they hide it from Lee? There is something I am missing here.

I'm not sure about the timing, but wasn't Lee seeing Mark Hawkins estranged wife Tara, and she became pregnant, then terminated the pregnancy without Lee's knowledge? Seems to me there was a bruhaha about it and Lee was quite upset, could be the A's hid it from him because he was devastated about the abortion and here was his Ho sister having a baby, and if it was Mark's baby, even more painful for him..just a theory, based on a few facts and my opinion only

Lee was upset that nobody included him or tell him about the pregnancy. He felt left out?

My brother never asked me about anything when I was pregnant. He however knew who the father was.

this is just too dang wierd!

But it IS weird that there was no big, exciting announcement. I mean, whether or not a pregnancy is planned, most families are happy about a baby at the end of the day.

to me not really, I worked around many teenage pregnancies. Caseys dad is a cop, she doesnt want him to know, she is scared, there are alot of dysfunctional families out there like this..

Hm. I am probably naive about this...but it seems like the grandparents and Lee really did love Caylee once she arrived. (Not saying they're not covering for Casey now...but I do think they loved Caylee).

OH I Agree with you on that I know they all loved her. Lee didnt have a relationship with caykee untill she was 2 but I think he loved her- thats the only reason I think he is crying, if he is, because he remembers her.. hurting, or something he cant say on the stand? dunno

I'm wondering if Lee might have some type of manic depression or emotional disability.  What guy would cry over something like his kid sister being pregers?  Really?  I grew up in a deeply religious home.  My brothers would've felt sorry for me and maybe told me I'd screwed up, but they wouldn't have cried.

I don't know.  I cannot relate either.  My brothers are just brothers.  It is weird, if I were pregges, they would probably laugh. 

my brother wouldnt have known I was pregnant unless I was changing a diaper and then he would have said, whats that? he is 2 yrs older

Has to be, Wonder if George will tell everyone on the stand he cut the cord?! and cindy being a nurse, is that normal?

I think Lee was so emotional as it was another example of how he was the disposable child to Cindy.  She had her Princess who could do no wrong regardless of what she did.  He has watched Cindy for the last three years and on the stand at all cost trying to save her Princess.  Just a deep wound from a disfunctional family upbringing.
