Hi Monks.  I just watched the 48 Hours show and IMO, the A's didn't help themselves or KC one bit.  I thought CBS did a fairly decent job of keeping it balanced. 

I will comment on Jesse - I think his participation and choice of words was a big mistake.  I question what he received for his appearance.
Even though I don't believe he would have ever harmed Caylee - he just exposed himself to more of the very nonsense I thought he was trying to fight off   

As to the Ants, they are all about $$$.  I can't buy that they're clueless, or stupid.  This is about making money and nothing else.  They may be the most hated family in America, but they keep putting their mugs on TV and causing outrage.  What's the old saying "there's no such thing as bad publicity?"  IMO it's just for money.

Re: the defense, am I the only one who cringes each time these people give an interview?  Again, IMO it's only about $$.

The 22 year old had parents and a brother who provided untrue information to LE and the FBI. The parents had the car and all of the belongings to wash and sanitize. They also did alot of yard work like pouring a cement slab around July 3 and 4th. I read most of George and Cindy's depositions and I don't know how they are going to be able to figure out what to say in court. They have told under oath, to Morgan, to the FBI, to LE and now these statements many different versions of the same events. After Cindy called the police on July 15 IF she believed the kid was alive and taken, she sure didn't provide any help to LE in finding the kid.
.. There was one part where Cindy says something like, Cayleee wasn't just Casey's baby ? she was ours ?  I will have to see that again, DD PVR'd it.
It was said in a strange way. My GD's are part of my family, I would not have phrased it in an ownership way.
And if Cindy and Casey were best friends, why did Casey keep so many secrets from her Mum ? She had no idea that she was seeing Ricardo, she thought he was gay and he was just a friend. Never mind the not working and the stealing money, Cindy had no clue about what Casey was doing or who she was hanging around with. Casey meets Tony and she thinks she's in love with him and her best friend never heard of him and they live in the same house ? 

All very bizarre. I'm trying to figure out all these lies they have told, and what version of the lies they will tell at trial? How do you possibly keep tabs on all this, must be notebooks full of bs. George was saying something about all the info he had on Tony and some of the others, but he lost his notebook that had the details about it. Funny how he was investigating all these friends of Casey, but not a lot of effort to search for Zanny 

In Cindy's deposition, they asked her if she had checked phone records, or investigated this one or that one of Casey's stories and friends, and she said she had done none of that.  Hadn't had her investigators check out Casey's claimed employment, hadn't read the transcripts of what she had said in previous depos...basically had not done anything to investigate anything that MIGHT lead back to her daughter.

I wonder why!   

  You would think she would have, but then if you knew that your grandchild was deceased from the beginning I guess there was no need for it. I wonder if a doctor could take this family and do some major therapy, to see what the he!! is all wrong with them, I would pay to read the results

Cindy's right...there's a lot of people she didn't meet...the prosecutor should point out that Cindy never met KC's boyfriend, Tony, never met the babysitter (and strangely for a woman so in control never made a point of meeting the sitter, or knowing where she lived or a phone number - Caylee supposedly spent many nights with the baby sitter), Cindy had never met Amy or all the friends in the many party pictures that KC had taken, and so on.....

Certainly doesn't equate to being a loving caring grandmother who states that Caylee was all of their's now does it?........total dysfunction.

Sunny, I know you and I have our FEELINGS on Kronk and Tracy, I didn't know we were together on our feelings about Jesse. I don't think Jesse is a bad person and I think he is a good kid, I just can't pinpoint what it is exactly, maybe he is obsessed with Casey and Caylee, one of the things that he said made me think that. I can see how the defense will make Jesse a target, I don't like it, I wish they don't but I have a feeling they will.

I know the anthonys got paid for the pics and videos for the 48 hours show and I think they recieved much more than what was claimed.
What I would like to know is if Jesse recieved any monies for all the pics of him and Caylee and him and casey?
I'm not trying to put Jesse down,just want to know.

Interesting question.  I'm also curious about that.  I hope he did get some sort of compensation.  Conway said they have never received money before this.  Weren't we told they got about $200,000 last year?   How have they supported themselves this long without jobs?

The anthonys have been supporting themselves by making money off the back of their beautiful Grand Daughter.
I hope Jesse didn't receive any money from those images.....I don't see that any differently than what the anthonys are doing
