I want to know where Patrick got his computer!  Why does Lois have it now? 

When I used the last thread's link I did not have the option of posting in this forum.  Was is just me?   ::MonkeyWaa::

All I know is that Lois said Patrick was her neighbor and gave her the computer.

The Ending, with apologies to Stephen King:

KC paced her 8 x 10 cell. The walls and floor were covered with mold. Since her parents had threatened to move into the jail compound with her, the PA had taken the death penalty off the table. Instead, she was sentenced to spend her life in a moldy cement jail cell. Gee, too bad she developed an allergy to mold.

As she paced, she heard it again. "Mommy? Mommy?". Over and over, millions of times a day, she heard Caylee's little voice asking for her.

KC had tried anything to silence the voice that only she heard. She had thought that if she got fat enough, the fat would cover her ears enough to quiet the voice. No go. She had asked the State of Florida to pay for her to have surgery, but that was denied-some said her mother had gotten to the State, asking them "but if you take away her hearing, how can I talk to her?".

But nothing worked. Being an Anthony, KC didn't understand that the voice was only in her head. She would ALWAYS hear Caylee, always hear that little voice asking for her.

And then, the day KC had dreaded arrived. Her mold allergies had turned fatal. As she felt her throat close up and her heart rate increase, she saw her. Standing before her, clad not in the clothes KC had thrown her away in, but in a flowing white dress, was Caylee.

"Oh, Caylee! Have you come to take me to heaven?" KC gasped.
"No, Mommy. You can't go there. God doesn't like people who kill their kids. I just came to say 'goodbye". Where you're going, you won't hear my voice anymore."

"Oh, good!" said KC, and smiled.

Her smile turned to a grimace of horror, as Caylee disapeard, and in her place, Satan appeared.

"KC Anthony, it's time. Table for one? For forever? Follow me, please."

LOL  Cindy continues to be a real piece of work, doesn't she?  Obviously she fears that some article of clothing might be found and she wants to say that LP put it out if it is found.  And since he mentioned the beads on the cross matching some in Casey's room, she wants to say that his assistant took the beads and hung the cross on the tree.  It is always someone other than Casey.  Any port in a storm.

I find Cindy and George and Millstead pathetic and laughable and so camera-hungry, in spite of their protests to the contrary, that they literally cannot stay away.  The cameras were not turned on them this weekend but on Caylee, and they could not stand it.

No news that I'm aware of. LP was just on CNN Headline News and I was doing 3 things at once so now I have to watch the rerun next hour.

The main thing I heard was them discussing the fact that Caylee is really dead. All the people on the show seemed to agree with that. Especially LP. Going to rewatch it, but don't expect anything really new. At least they devoted more time than NG did last night.

Just FYI and my apologies if this has already been mentioned.  The Georgia police followed up on the tip
of the "live" Caylee sighting Cindy was referring to on GMA and found the 2 1/2 year old and her family
who were mistaken for Caylee at a Winn Dixie store.  They have confirmed this was not Caylee.

I know that there are no "rule books" for how to behave in a situation like this, and nobody expects there to be a uniform reaction.  But it is easy to tell when someone is deliberately seeking the limelight.  The searchers were getting all the attention.  Tim and LP and others were getting the camera time.  If Cindy did not want to be asked questions or videoed, she would not have gone to the search area.  It is that simple.  Nobody followed her and George to Gainesville, if they even went, and she could not stand that, so she showed up at the park to put on a little drama for the cameras.  That is my opinion.

I thought the latest sighting was in Gainesville Fla ..  was there another one (recent) in Georgia?

Yes, it is a wildgoose chase and it could go on forever.  Cindy knows that.  The possibility for "sightings" is endless.  But I thought her private investigator was watching Caylee as we speak or knew where Caylee was or knew that Caylee was "out of state."  It is all such an obvious ruse.  I think they have seen Millstead making a living from donations to a cause and they want a piece of that action.  It sounds very cold, but why else perpetrate a myth and try to send police on these wild goose chases.  I just have my doubts about Cindy and Millstead, too.  His organization should be looked at.  If they are taking people's money, they should have somegthing to show for it and results.  How many missing people have been located due to a billboard being dragged around?

It is irritating that no follow up questions are asked of Cindy when she says they went to Gainesville.  What did they do there?  How long were they there?  Did they talk to witnesses or to the cops or to both?  Did they actually look for Caylee?  There is no proof they even went but if they did, what did they accomplish as far as helping to locate Caylee?

thanks for the update....I know people are just trying to do the right thing...however if they REALLY THINK they have seen Caylee why so they not call the local police immediately..instead of calling the A's? that makes no sense to me at all!!  If I thought I saw her I'd be on the phone to the local police so fast and I would not let her/them outta my sight!

Thank you.  They are my biggest reason for living and I am blessed to be able to care for them while their parents work.  With me, they are safe and loved.  I sure wish little Caylee had that.

I had a dream last night about being covered in maggotts. Des, this is JMO.. I think it's great he wants to find her.  The fact he is willing to put his "time and dime" up to do it is amazing- whether anybody agrees with his motives (whatever they may or may not be) or not, he is still trying to find a missing child.  Does he really feel that his efforts will find her? Is he THAT convinced she's there in that water?  If he really and truly is, and he has the money and manpower to get it done, then I think he should go for it.

Lois lives just down the street from this Patrick guy who visited Casey in jail after she was first arrested.  He gave Lois his computer.

  Very loud YES.   Caylee is there somewhere.  I have great respect for LP for his commitment in finding Caylee.  The thought of Caylee left out there forever is very hard to bear.  Most of dont have the means to do much, but hope and pray, and maybe donate  some money, but LP is a true hero for little Caylee and if he can search more....I will certainly cheer him on.............

I believe that he should go back in. What if she is in there.  With CA saying the female bounty hunter stole the beads now makes me even more suspect that they were close.  She needs to be found!

IMO no....Tim said he cleared the river.....his equipment is very high tech...if there had been anything there TES would have found it...I think that is admirable of LP...but I think he needs to check with TES and and confirm the area was check with the side sonar scanner.

According to that guy from the crime blog.. the one following TES around, Tim stated that he did not believe that was an area they should be searching at, since it was not on OCSO's "radar".

As for any other searches there, I don't know how much they did there, if at all. Brian from SOS had that Wyatt dude on there, stating that he and his group helped a former? TES team leader search in the area, because the team leader claimed his searchers didn't do a good enough job.. so Wyatt went out, and they found that rope connected to something off the shore line. But I don't know if they ever went back out and examined what may have come off the rope.

I believe she told Murt that she didn't see anything bad on there.. thus no reason to hand it over, I'm guessing. However, she's no computer genius, I'm guessing. How does she know? She doesn't know what he may or may not have had on there... and why would he just suddenly give her his computer? Simply out of the kindness of his heart? Earlier today, someone talked about the difference between the two men, which was explained well.  It's not about who is right or who is wrong.  They both are doing everything within their power or ability to try to find Caylee and are both to be commended.

If LP is willing to spend his own money to continue the search for Caylee in the river, I trust that he has his own instincts that are guiding him.  It's no money out of anyone elses pocket.  I just hope he doesn't go into $100,000 debt as Tim and his team.

Oops.  I only got bits and pieces, I was hoping someone else did see it to give me the full on story.  I just saw LP on talking about his search, I heard one of the "experts" telling LP that "atleast someone was continuing to search".  Then it cut to another reporter saying the TES had already left, and that LP was planning to stay a few extra days, but as for searches none were scheduled by anyone, not even LE at this point in time.  It was sad.

On what evidence is LP thinking Caylee is even there to begin with?  If it's that cross, I say no more diving.  That is not enough reason to go in there.  If there is some other compelling evidence to go along with his hunch I would agree.  It's easy to sit here and say go for it when it's not your dime being spent.  I voted yes, but then I began thinking LP should have something else to go on besides this cross and beads on a tree.  What led him to that spot in the first place?  He needs to think this through a little more before he jumps in and starts looking.  Having said that, just because OCSO thinks it's not important or relevant does not make it so.  I want more information.

Honestly, Lee seems more the type to make a cross like that, than Casey.. not if she's made them before... I think her's would look a bit more.. polished. 

If LP is willing to search all the way to the preserve he either:
1) Thinks the body is definitely in the River and the current has moved it
Or
2) Wants to push the Anthony's to the breaking point and they inadvertantly reveal the place Caylee really is

yes, I think it was found and photograhed in August....by a TES member....when 'they' went back it was gone...I don't know who they are or when exactly they went back...but it was gone...one little bead was found at the base of the tree

Did you all also hear about the carving in the tree by the water?  "Oviedo"- who I believe is a mod over at the Justice4Caylee forum- stated that they discovered a name carved into a tree there, near the water.  It looked to them like it had been there 4-6 months or so.. and that it said (IIRC) "Caley"- which is an alternate spelling for Caylee, that had been seen before on an Anthonys' (I assume Casey's) myspace page.

Well, if his efforts did in fact find Caylee,  IMO it doesn't really matter what the motives are. Currently nobody else is out there searching for her.. if he wants to spend the money, and has the guys to do the job, and if he REALLY believes she's there in that river, I say he should go for it.  More power to him. IF he finds Caylee, what person in their right mind is going to tell him he was a bad man for finding her? (Aside from the Anthonys, that is?)

I do not think I would be alloud to dive, however I have a hubs who wants to along with a bunch of his employees who are willing...however the liability insurance for that would be astronomical given the gators.  LOL  Also I think A-1 might come and hold me down to prevent me from going diving.

SO she was a bit irked that somebody else had "scooped her scoop" I think she put it. LOL  She was hoping the guy from Channel 6 would take his camera over there.. there was a small crowd by the tree, but no idea if pictures were taken. No idea how they could tell the age of a carving, either.

I personally spoke with LP today and he told me that the sonar was NOT recorded.  It has him fustrated and he really believes that Caylee is there.  And I must add, after being there today, so do I.

Hopefully LE will check it.......

I voted yes, and like Lala's kind of started to second guess myself afterward. I do think it could not hurt for it to be given a second look, but I do worry about the safety of the divers. I am all for someone, anyone continuing the search for Caylee.....

seems to me that thats really the 1st time we've seen them truly nervous although i could be wrong. It just seems that they were determined not to have that dive take place.
On another note, did it ever come out what LP's girl knew or possibly knew that she may have needed immunity for?

The fact that they had tried to have their attorney's stop the dive, had a "spy" there, the fact that they physically went down there rather than make a phone call, the notion that someone has noted to have seen Dante there...all this to me seems a little over the top, even for the Anthony's, if this was just all over a "Memorial".

I searched for ground penetrating sonar + water and came up with many hits, one is above. It does seem that it penetrates muck. For all practical purposes I don't know that they ever record 4 hours of the sonar search unless something relevant is on it?? Why would you?

I think that by the mere fact there is someone searching keeps hope alive.  It helps the spirits of those who are truly on Caylee's side.  Movement is good, imo (unless it involves the mouth or tongue of CA).

I am not completely heartless and I do feel for CA.  It was, however, hard for me to see her with her hair colored and styled and her makeup on when she went to confront LP in front of the cameras yesterday.  I would have forgotten about myself if I was that devastated then.  That said, I feel she is going to lose it at any minute.  I would never want to be the Grandmother of a murdered Grandbaby, ever.

I voted yes as well.  Now I am sitting here thinking .... what if anything would be left of her body.  I know it sounds gory but 5 months in water, would her bones even survive all that?  If they put her in a plastic bag, wouldn't that have been shredded by now?I am not being negative, I am just trying to understand what they would expect to find. If there is a foot of muck on the bottom, I don't want to see the divers injured. The Anthonys seem pretty confident that she will not be found. That's why I think they are all involved.

Along the southwest shore of Lake Tibet-Butler in Orange County, over four miles of trails and elevated boardwalks radiate out from the Vera Carter Environmental Center. The Bay and cypress swamps, freshwater marshes, scrub and pine flatwoods host diverse wildlife.

Watchable wildlife:
Check in at the visitor center for a schedule of special programs and naturalist-led hikes. The Tarflower Loop Trail navigates the scrub community, home to gopher tortoises, indigo snakes and other burrow residents. Two boardwalks traverse wetlands where herons and egrets, pileated, downy and red-bellied woodpeckers, yellow-rumped warblers and kingfishers are commonly spotted.  The 1.0-mile Fallen Log Crossing Trail is a good place to spot swallow-tailed kites (spring and summer), red-tailed hawks, ospreys and the bald eagles that regularly nest on the preserve. Stop at the bird feeders at the visitor center and check for blue jays, cardinals, tufted titmice and other common songbirds.

I think all above is possible.  I made a comment yesterday after the Cindy debacle that she may have overstepped, because I wouldn't want want on the wrong side of Padilla.  Cindy's forte' is bullying and bullying will NOT work with a bounty hunter.  By nature, a bounty hunter does not give up.  I think we may be seeing LP's true nature working here.

Also, the thought must be that if a park bench was found washed underwater, under the saw grass (presumably during the flooding from the hurricanes), then it's certainly possible that if Caylee was in that water, it would have been swept away by the flood, too (even in any kind of a container) IMO
