In all seriousness, Klaas, I have always thought you should write a book on Natalee's case. I've read the ones out there, and your knowledge would be far, far, more compelling. You could make a case based on facts arranged in logical order and guide the reader to an inevitable conclusion.

I demand a chapter on Shango. LOL

... A lifelong friend, Ryan Pasley, told investigators it would take "the fear of God" to get Casey to tell the truth. She's not going to do anything for anybody, he told them, unless there's something in it for her.

When Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, asked Pasley about being a character witness for her, Pasley said "I?ll tell you whatever you want to know. I just don't think it's going to help your case."

No, I don't think so that is when she would just not answer A/K/A plead the fifth, right not to incriminate herself but it would make the defense aware of leads that would then put the defense in position to make up stories, anyway that is how I would interpret it.

IMO, any official statements or testimony given should ALWAYS be UNDER OATH & that includes the POPE.  Otherwise, it's a waste of time & resources, which is not in the best interest of the people who the government represents regardless of department/division/entity.  Otherwise giving liars the opportunity to SPIN.

Ok, just returned from  a week in NY visiting my daughter and grandson, with no news (24/7 DNC coverage anyway, aarrgghh)  or SM fix and I cannot believe how much I've missed!  I don't even know where to begin to catch up.  Thank God I'm off until after the holidays at home, where I have more access to read.

You Rock Monkeys!  Keep up the great work, while I go back and read what I've missed!  This appears it will eat up the rest of my vacation catching up.  But it's worth it for a missing baby, who appears to have been handed a horrible blow before her 3rd B-day 

A special shout out to Joseph (so far as I've read) for all you have done!   God Bless you!

CBB, It's bad enough to lose your mother to natural causes or illness even.  How horrible for you to lose her in an accident.  My heart goes out to you.  I am truly blessed that both my parents are still alive (80ish) and still married for over 60 years.  They live on the gulf coast of the Florida panhandle.  I'm hoping that hurricane will stall and die out or turn and head for Mexico.  If not, I'll be going crazy over them.  They refuse to leave.  We left one time when I was child, remember Camille?  When my Dad saw that thing had 200+ mph winds, even his stubbord a** started packing. LOL!  It turned in the middle of the night and went in to Biloxi, sparing us.  I hope everyone battens down the hatches and stays out of harm's way.  God bless all you monkeys!

The pleasure is all mine.  In a perfect world how you were reading it would be the way it would be.

In the past not putting "certain people" under oath during testimony was due to honor being presumed to be in the character of those people due to their position, now a days & after way too many years of the dishonorable being among those who had taken oaths of office prior to taking the positions of responsibilty THEY SHOULD ALL BE REQUIRED TO THE OATH, "Oath specific" per se, otherwise loophole to the warped of mind.
