Beautiful, Klaas.  Glad you have something else to focus on during your days (at least a second here or there)...that one is spectacular.

I worded it funny.  I was on the patches about 2 months, maybe a week or two longer.  After the 2 months I was down to the lowest dose and I was able to stop.  I did leave the last patch on for a couple days as a psychological thing, even though I'm sure it was no longer delivering any nicotine, LOL

You are doing great!  For me I found NOT talking about it was easier until I got over the urges which was after about the first 3 weeks.  Then it was easier to talk about without wanting one.

thanks for clarifying that for me....WHEW!  I am going to step 2 on Wednesday.....the last couple of days have been less stressful...We went to dinner Friday night and on the way out we had to walk through a group of people smoking...I was worried...but found I really didn't want to join them

I'm going to post this now, just in case the cage gets busy and I can't get in tomorrow.

Thanks to all the Veterans out there.

Thanks Muffy.

On a lighter note... Did you ever hear of anything so ridiculous regarding a freakin' rooster????

Rooster arrested in Benton, Ill.
Becky Malkovich
THE SOUTHERN ILLINOISAN
11/04/2008

BENTON, Ill. -- A rooster played chicken in the wrong town.

That's the word from the downstate community of Benton, where police took a rooster into custody after it allegedly confronted a woman and her child.

Police Chief Mike O'Neill says the rooster has been bothering people lately, trying to keep them from getting where they want to go.

O'Neill says officers had enough on Monday and took the rooster into custody after what he described as a brief scuffle.

Nobody was injured and the rooster was thrown in an enclosed area near the police department. There, it lived on chicken feed and water until police located the owner. Chickens aren't allowed to live in Benton and the rooster was turned over to the owner only after he promised to find it a new home in the country.

Cubbee - my husband gets muscle spasms (he has MS), anyway he always uses a hard ball (baseball) to get rid of his muscle spasms.

Whenever I have a headache, he always tells me to try the hardball.  Usually I can find a spot at the base of my skull or on my neck that needs to be "worked out" and my headache goes away.

Just wanted to tell you that.

Any one with RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME
I have suffered with this since I was 17 and I am now a senior.  About three years ago my husband read an article about throwing a bar of soap in the sheets.  (Not Ivory or Dove)  I laughed but tried it.  Since then I sleep with soap and it has cut my RLS down about 98%.  Go figure!  Give it a try

Hey guys.  Got back from the doctor...too soon to tell for certain, and my hubs is hoping for boys.  We have an appointment set up in 2 weeks, so hopefully we will know before Thanksgiving.
I put together the pictures of the babies for everyone to see their progress.  On the way out my hubs had to show them to nearly everyone who passed us..he is a proud Dad.
(Sorry if its blurry, had to cut out personal info from the pictures.)
Individual photos from the side of each of the babies.

Together from a different angle showing them side by side.

How wonderful for you. Be happy your husband is proud and showing everyone, my husband was like that too. My daughters are now in their twentys, but I remember after the first was born, when the nurse was taking Laurel to the nursery, my husband followed and the doctor looked at me and said, you've lost him now. Take advantage of the pampering and attention, and enjoy decorating and buying baby items.
