Even though Cindy is downplaying some things, I believe the jury is thinking it has to be one way or another and not inbetween.  The have to base their decision on concrete evidence not lukewarm.  I believe the jury will see through Cindy's 'figure of speech' stuff especially once they hear Cindy on the 911 tape saying the car smelled like a dead body.
I agree, and I also think the jury will be somewhat "forgiving" of Cindy for playing both sides, with the understanding she has lost her grandchild and want(ed) to hold onto her child.

I think they will empathize with Cindy & George as grandparents as well as the parents of an accused murderer who is their daughter.  They will recognize their cover up possibly with the understanding that it would be difficult for most anyone as a parent to want to believe their child was capable of murdering an innocent child nor wanting to help put the needle in their arm.  That said, certain things they did will not be received well if and when they come out either but they are not on trial, Casey is.

No parent or grandparent wants to think the worst.  It seems the A's didn't want to believe that Caylee was deceased, nor that there daughter had committed this crime.  They were on the edge of a very steep slope and did not want to go down that slope..no one would.

I am just happy to see they have turned a corner..Caylee deserved that..

I want to have sympathy for george and cindy, but it is so hard knowing the type of people they really are.  The ironic thing is that their lies and arrogance are what will eventually be the nails in casey's coffin.  The things that cindy did to "help" casey will be the things that end up hanging her.  The jury will see that cindy was more than willing to cover for her daughter, so the whole defense theory is blown out of the water!  The fact that casey was too afraid to tell cindy the truth is not going to fly, IMO.

Pudgly either has a motion they had ready in his hands or a transcript and they are getting ready to prove impeachment against Cindy.  The entire dufense table has been discussing the papers in his hands

The defense can blame everyone else all day long but I don't think the jury will forget that Caylee was Casey's child and she was responsible for her.  I hope they see she was responsible for what happened to her.  Going after Cindy is not going to help Casey, not after everything Cindy testified she and George did for Casey and Caylee.  Plus you can tell, whether Cindy is lying about details or not, that she loved Caylee.  I don't think the jury sees that at all in Casey - accidental death or not.  She has cried the hardest for herself during the opening statement about the abuse.

I thinkCindy's story about not thing it smelled like a dead body falls apart due to her previous testimony. Earlier she went on about how she was only a Granma, KC was the mother and an adult woman, yada, yada... right after catching KC in a lie. So why afater just another one of KC's many lies did she suddenly treat KC like whe was six and virtually kidnap her? What was different this time? KC still had an explanation that Caylee was at the Nanny's etc. She'd already told Cindy she needed her space and that Cindy better get used to an empty nest. The only answer could be was that she suspected Caylee was dead, due to the smell in the car.
She desperately clung to the kidnap story, reverting to lifelong need to prop up Casey and believe she's normal. But she knew she was dead. She turned her rage upon people that tried to point out the truth, because they were daring to rock her freaky enabling boat that was sailing along a river called DeNial. The sorrow and tears came when all the stories about Caylee being alive dried up from Casey who finally flat out admitted Caylee was dead.

I am still leery of the whole Anthony family but Cindy has me convinced that she did not know that Casey said Caylee drowned till 6 weeks ago.  Casey let her believe she did not know what happened to Caylee.  Now not only does she know that Casey knows when Caylee died, she also knows absolutely that George had NOTHING to do with it.  Cindy still loves Casey but she now realizes that Casey has known for almost 3 years what happened to Caylee and that she was left in limbo by Casey for all that time.  Her love for Caylee never wavered but her mama-bear reaction to protecting her daughter prevented her from thinking that Casey had anything to do with it.  Until Casey admitted that she knew how Caylee died and that there was no nanny, Casey was lying to them all the whole time.  Cindy also knows and has said before that if it were an accident, Casey would freak and immediately try to get help and call 911.  She truly in her heart believed that.  Casey had her completely snowed till Casey admitted that Caylee drowned and Casey has known this the whole time.  While her whole family was blaming others and searching for a non-existent nanny.  I am still holding out full sympathy for any of them, that many lies and they still believed her until 6 weeks ago.  The Anthony's have hardened me toward them with all their lies, I am going to have a hard time finding true compassion for them.  I just have too much compassion for a little girl who will forever be almost three.  Maybe when they break down or do a victim statement for Caylee, my heart will relent.  I don't want to feel like this about Caylee's grandparents, I believed they loved her and treasured her.

Linda wants to superimpose a transcript of the 911 calls when the jury is listening to them so they can follow.

Hold so they will hear about the money being stolen? SO if that is true they can now introduce the myspace posting everyone said that it was not allowed in because of the money being mentioned.

Stipulations regarding the stolen car or money in the 911 calls. The jury is only to consider them as excited utterances & not to consider the criminal charges Cindy mentions in the calls. JP will read these stipulations to the jury.

Mason is objecting to those portions of calls to be heard at all......@ssclown
