I'm very curious about those woods next to the water and why Annette and Teresa were searching there. I just hope that if they found something they wouldn't contaminate anything. 

No Rose ... I was wondering the same thing.  Why did Teresa and Annette spend so much time search the woods.  What did Grandma Flora tell Annette in regards to her conversation with Tommy.  When I consider the Caylee Anthony case ... I believe the recording will at some point be released.

Don't make sense and they both should have known better imo.    Carpe again thanks for the latest translated tape, Cobra says, daddy's don't kill their kids, wrong Cobra.

Especially in custody issues, how many times have we heard about a father killing his kids for these reasons, I even asked my son's pssychiatrist about this as women tend to kill themselves and men tend to take everyone out. I was worried for my life and my son's during our divorce/custody fight as he had tried to take out a 750m life insurance policy on me My son's pyschiatrist agreed with me and told me typically it's because men have to be in control and when they can't control it they take the actions I just posted while women become depressed and distraught.

IM, I didn't realize the storm was really that bad, hope all was well with ya. It just passed thru Memphis area while I was talking to my dad.

As much as this hardly will come out of my head, in one of those tapes Ron says he really loves Misty.  I don't see how, but I guess he does ( or did).  Could all this be him protecting her. He knows TC helped with the cover up. But it's all some insane accident story she told him and he's willing to just keep backing her by staying quiet?  From day to day I get more confused and like you, worried that somehow these guys are hard core self preservationists and will not ever tell what really happened

Thanks Mizjay, it hit everywhere around us but missed us by a few miles thank God, it did hit Union University in Jackson, TN and blew their dorms down and that's about 1/4 mile away from my parents house. We lost electricity but that was all.

I can't see how he could be that in love with Misty either after just knowing her for about 5 months IIRC and like you the more we hear the more confused I am

I think Misty as some sort of detachment syndrome. I'm not qualified to really make any kind of judgment - she understand right and wrong and there is no doubt about that but then there is the punishment and accepting responsibility for her actions. It's like that's where the train comes off the tracks.

somehow in her mind, she knows what she does is wrong, but punishment and responsibility are for others, even if they didn't commit the crime. I don't know if it's all because she is young, but any 17 year old should know that there is right and wrong and consequences for your actions.

She has some sort of cognitive disassociation disorder in my humble opinion.

In other words - she's whacked.

Misty reminds me a lot of KC...sociopath...all about "me" and "lying" and "can't keep a story straight".

child molestation sexual battery and his name is snodgrass.

Good morning, I also wondered who was watching the kids while Misty was on her three day binge. I don't know if Ron worked the weekends, but if he didn't I just assumed he did.

I'm sure it's been discussed. It would have been a huge question at some point. Oh and I think I meant while Ron was working NIGHTS, not days. 

I wonder why the GGMS didn't mention this? or did she? Or did someone else admit to the care of the kids? I have no idea.

What I find now that is interesting .. Misty stated the blanket was peed on Monday so does that mean the children were at the home on the weekend. Now GGranny does the wash for the children.. Did she only do the clothes? If Haleigh wet the bed at night or some times at night you would think GGranny would check the sheets and blankets to see if they needed to be washed.. Just Thinking Out Loud...

I am a few pages behind, catching up, though!

GGma Sykes said on NG the other night that she does the children's clothes (she does not like stains) but Misty does hers and Ronald's and the "household laundry." I would assume the blankets would be considered "household laundry." JMO.

Came across this one of little Haleigh loving on her Great Grandma, while she apparently is folding laundry.

talk to the muthaf***** po-lice, you know how many times they talk to me?

cobra: but i don`t know him, man... cuz all of a sudden they have merchant`s
name mixed up with you, if you all was boys... that wont do me no good... if

ron: december of 05 when i finally went to court... um, the 4100 dollars
in southport that her lawyer (unintelligible) maybe i should get her the
paperwork that`s left in my f**** visor because she`s 11,400 behind.

cobra: no f***** way!

ron: yeah, now me or you? (unintelligible)

cobra: you going to jail! (laugh) i just tell em to go f off. i got
child support like a muthaf*****.

ron: we go to jail, bro! we go to jail.

ron: my daughter come up missing feb the 10th... feb. the 10th, at about
threeee 27, 28... i was there for about three minutes turning the house
upside down and then told misty, call 911, call 911. call 911.

cobra: i heard ya , i heard the tapes. i heard em off the tv.

ron: at 3:26 is when the 911 call was made. so, i must have pulled in at
about 3:23. they also have ummm surveillance videos from the top of the
hill where it goes from two lanes to 4 lanes... they asked me if i was
there what took me so long to get home? i said i stopped at the store...
well what store? i told em, well what did you buy? i said, i bought
a pack of basic lights in a box, i bought a pack of newport shorts
in a box, i bought a pack of honey roasted peanuts, i bought a pack of
salted peanuts, and i bought a 30 ounce Budweiser in a bottle.

cobra: sounds like a normal f`n man coming from work.

ron: guess what? they went on pulled the tapes, guess what they found?

cobra: all of the above!

ron: now they said, well how the f**** did you get home from this amount
of time to this amount of time... well because I drive like
a cracker ready to get home from work!

cobra: i was talking to misty`s momma... she said that the night that this all
went down... she said that this f**** dude joe... swore vengeance on your
ass that he`d get ya... he`d make you pay...or whatever the f****.

ron: that`s what i was told too.

cobra: i heard it, straight up.

ron: then as soon as my daughter went missing he got the f outta here and went to
tennessee.

cobra: very same day. ...and also he was staying over at timmy`s house, over there...
and when timmy woke up at 1 o` clock in the morning that mother**** it wasn`t there.

ron: van wasn`t there. van wasn`t there. that`s why the van has been impounded.

cobra: i`m gonna go back over to your house there`s a bush sitting right there
in your yard where you go down this road and make a u turn or whatever... come
back up at your place... i betcha the piece of brushes that i got...
but then all of a sudden they told me that misty had the van that afternoon...
the last afternoon... that uh...

ron: misty aint never had that van. they won`t let misty drive that van.


cobra: what van could misty drive? they`ve already told me, they told me
that the day that Haliegh came up missing... that afternoon when she picked
her up from the bus stop... she picked her up in a van... and that uh, you
come down there flyin` sideways at the bus stop... hey, where my girl at?
...and you know... you lookin` for misty. what is all that?

cobra: oh, they lyin?

ron: all that is wrong, dude. i picked my daughter up from the bus stop that day!
i dropped her off at the bus stop... and i picked her up at the bust stop!

cobra: well, i am glad you told me that... you know why? cuz these scratches on
the van and all that s*** i`m glad misty didn`t do that s***, the van, you know
driving around. i think joe was driving the mother****** van!

ron: I! I picked my daughter up from the bus stop... and she sat in my lap...
f**** what the world thinks, they can all suck my d*** .... I let her sit in my lap
and steer the car home... and she put her left blinker on to turn left down the dirt
road to go to my house! when she rounded the (unintelligible) and s***... hit the right
blinker! okay?

ron: i got out, i gave her a hug and a kiss... i gave my son a hug and a kiss,
gave my girlfriend a hug and a kiss,  told her i love you... i`ll see y`all when i
get home from work.

cobra: what did you mean when you said: b****, who the f*** did you let come in here
and steal my kid? that`s what i wanted to ask you about. if I had any questions for
you, you must have known she had somebody in there.


ron: i don`t think she had anything to do with it.

let somebody come in my house?

ron: at 3:26 is when the 911 call was made. so, i must have pulled in at
about 3:23. they also have ummm surveillance videos from the top of the
hill where it goes from two lanes to 4 lanes... they asked me if i was
there what took me so long to get home? i said i stopped at the store...
well what store? i told em, well what did you buy? i said, i bought
a pack of basic lights in a box, i bought a pack of newport shorts
in a box, i bought a pack of honey roasted peanuts, i bought a pack of
salted peanuts, and i bought a 30 ounce Budweiser in a bottle.

cobra: sounds like a normal f`n man coming from work.

ron: guess what? they went on pulled the tapes, guess what they found?

cobra: all of the above!

ron: now they said, well how the f**** did you get home from this amount
of time to this amount of time... well because I drive like
a cracker ready to get home from work!

cobra: i was talking to misty`s momma... she said that the night that this all
went down... she said that this f**** dude joe... swore vengeance on your
ass that he`d get ya... he`d make you pay...or whatever the f****.

ron: that`s what i was told too.

cobra: i heard it, straight up.

ron: then as soon as my daughter went missing he got the f outta here and went to
tennessee.

cobra: very same day. ...and also he was staying over at timmy`s house, over there...
and when timmy woke up at 1 o` clock in the morning that mother**** it wasn`t there.

ron: van wasn`t there. van wasn`t there. that`s why the van has been impounded.

cobra: i`m gonna go back over to your house there`s a bush sitting right there
in your yard where you go down this road and make a u turn or whatever... come
back up at your place... i betcha the piece of brushes that i got...
but then all of a sudden they told me that misty had the van that afternoon...
the last afternoon... that uh...

ron: misty aint never had that van. they won`t let misty drive that van.


cobra: what van could misty drive? they`ve already told me, they told me
that the day that Haliegh came up missing... that afternoon when she picked
her up from the bus stop... she picked her up in a van... and that uh, you
come down there flyin` sideways at the bus stop... hey, where my girl at?
...and you know... you lookin` for misty. what is all that?

cobra: oh, they lyin?

ron: all that is wrong, dude. i picked my daughter up from the bus stop that day!
i dropped her off at the bus stop... and i picked her up at the bust stop!

cobra: well, i am glad you told me that... you know why? cuz these scratches on
the van and all that s*** i`m glad misty didn`t do that s***, the van, you know
driving around. i think joe was driving the mother****** van!

ron: I! I picked my daughter up from the bus stop... and she sat in my lap...
f**** what the world thinks, they can all suck my d*** .... I let her sit in my lap
and steer the car home... and she put her left blinker on to turn left down the dirt
road to go to my house! when she rounded the (unintelligible) and s***... hit the right
blinker! okay?

ron: i got out, i gave her a hug and a kiss... i gave my son a hug and a kiss,
gave my girlfriend a hug and a kiss,  told her i love you... i`ll see y`all when i
get home from work.

cobra: what did you mean when you said: b****, who the f*** did you let come in here
and steal my kid? that`s what i wanted to ask you about. if I had any questions for
you, you must have known she had somebody in there.


ron: i don`t think she had anything to do with it.

cobra: you don`t think she let anybody come in? well you said...

let somebody come in my house?

  Thanks again for transcribing that Carpe even transcribed I can't figure our WTF they are talking about as they talk so strangely, it's just beyond my comprehension that in the ealier tapes when he talks about HaLeigh being in the water and goes on to tell how he's so d@mn smart about the gators, it's like he's talking about an oil change and there is no emotion. If I was talking about anyone I knew, much less my child being in the river I'd be breaking down crying and unable to speak, he77 even to this day I find it hard to talk about my GB when he passed......again way beyond my comprehension

Carpe thank you so much for the transcriptions. WOW, they all really say so much. If you read it slowly it all follows a rhythm. That's the best way I can describe it. If you all read it very slowly, and not in your usual tempo, you will find that it does have a certain flow. I give Cobra some credit here. I know that's sometimes hard to do, but he tries to gangsta the gangsta for info and it works to a certain extent. Ron, however, does have a shield up.

I'm thinking I'm going to pick a few parts from the last transcription to highlight. There is one area that really has alot of detail and I was thinking maybe I would parse it. Thanks again Carpe. I know that was painstaking.
