BLOG: Live in the Casey Anthony courtroom

Casey Anthony is back in court Friday morning as her lawyers argue new motions in the case.  The hearing begins at 9:30AM.   I'll be blogging live from the courtroom.  Follow updates below:   

10:11 Attorney for OC Jail: Jail cannot be required to change jail procedures for one person. Cameras are there for security/risk management. Jail subject to Florida public records law.
10:05 (Casey Anthony wiping away tears.)
10:04 Dr Lyon: Casey Anthony under extreme pressure, needs family to come and say "I love you" (Cindy Anthony crying in audience.)
9:59 Regarding the family/friend visits... There are better ways to monitor for safety. This is not truly about security. Lyon says there is no need to keep videos after it's made sure that no security breach took place. Videos are released to the media, which are then dissected in the media - adds to tainted jury problem.
9:57 Dr Lyon: No need to turn on camera.
9:54 Dr Lyon: Attorney-client visits are too closely monitored by prison guards. Video camera monitors their meeting. Make conversations "circumscribed." Unfortunate because State is "trying to kill our client."
9:49 Dr. Lyon: Video tapes infringe on Casey Anthony constitution rights. She seems to believe that the jail is video taping visits between Anthony and her attorneys.
9:48 Lawyer for jail called up to argue motion regarding video tapes in jail.
9:46 Judge says state can issue an investigative subpoena to question Casey. And then decide on deposition later.
9:45 Burdick: No privilege exists.
9:42 Tennis: Everything that Casey knows that would be valuable to the prosecution is privileged.
9:38 Tennis: Casey will answer questions if Anthony family allows.
9:32 Attorney Diana Tennis arguing motion to resist State's deposition of her client Dominic Casey.
9:27 Hearing is about to begin. George and Cindy Anthony are both present. Casey Anthony was just brought into the room in shackles.
State's attorneys: Jeff Ashton, Linda Drane Burdick
Defense attorneys: Jose Baez, Dr. Anrea Lyon

Hi NR!!  You haven't missed much!

TY CB.   I see Bobo and Cindy are colour coordinated again in shades of grey and Casey washed her hair this time.  Was the shirt stashed under the table from last time and she pulled it on in the court room?  Sure is wrinkled.

She may wash it but as much as she "handles and slicks" her hair, it gets oily.

They're taking a "break"?

Geez................... I want to work for the court!

Brad stipulated prior to court they would not be attempting to invoke (not that they could anyway) privilege with regard to Dom Casey. That was brilliant. Ms. Burdick was ready for such an argument and there is no way those 2 want a piece of that.

In session said that when Casey was crying talking about family visits Cindy bowed her head and wiped away tears.  Boo-hoo.  Brooks just said we haven't heard anything about Cayee.

Exactly - she sheds tears when the issue is about HER but never has shed a tear when talk about little Caylee's remains - she is as shallow and disgusting as it gets
