Trimm, I have so many decorations, that if we ever go up into the attic, which we better some day, we will be shocked, that doesn't include what is in the garage. Great job with your light fixture, that is a huge deal, wouldn't have a clue how to do that. JSM, I understand, I use to have to do that myself to get caught up, and if I didn't I would just sit and worry about all the work that needed to be done.

Guess what?I got my light fixture put up all my self.It doesn't sound like a big deal,but I got shocked  as a kid at a little country store one time.I was opening the freezer to get a popscicle and yooowwwza did that smart.Scared the chit out of me.I got a free popscicle.Pfft. 
Anyway the light isn't perfectly straight,but I did it!     If anyone laughs I will smack'em with my toolbox.   
I really should be cleaning my house.   

TRIM I can wire entire houses.  OK, they're only dollhouse and it's only 12 volt.  I wish I had the nerve to put up a real light fixture.

I didn't sleep last night from worrying about it, so I went straight from Mass and did what I could in a few hours. It took me half as long than it usually would because I was without any interruptions

  I have a headache that is killing me. I have eaten 7 advil and it still isn't helping. I think it is because I didn't eat until I got home around 3:30. I just ate a Kitkat thinking that would help, but it hasn't. I don't know what else to do.

If anyone has ever been to Pigeon Forge, and actually I think the whole world has, they know the Incredible Christmas place has the entire builting and grounds decorated with blue LED lights.  So, I bought about 15 strings of those blue LED lights to put on Arborvitae which I have in big pots lining my driveway.  I usually put up about five Christmas trees inside. Then I hang icicle lights around the entire roof of my house which is rather large.  This year I'm only going to put up the blue lights and one tree inside because I'll be flying to Augusta on Tuesday to spend Thanksgiving with my brother and I'll spend Christmas with my sister in Lexington.  I usually have Christmas here in the mountains with a group of relatives, but this year, I'm out of here

Babybear that sounds nice, have a great Thanksgiving    JSM, please don't take anymore Advil for your headache, maybe it is a sinus headache and Tylenol Sinus does help. I hope it isn't one of those headaches, that no matter what you do it doesn't budge.

I just put up the one tree and then a little while ago I fell out of my closet with a box full of ornaments and hit my ribs.    Chit I quit.Maybe I'll string some garland on my stairs tomorrow,but that's it for me.

Baby I have never been to Pigeon Forge, it sounds beautiful. I am not putting up a tree, but will decorate outside. I am glad you are going to your brother's for Thanksgiving and your sister's for Christmas. That sounds like you will be having a great Holiday!!

I know Baby, it probably is too many, but I don't have anything else to take. I ate 5 chicken wings and am about to eat some pizza.

My friend that is a massage therapist came over and rubbed out knots in my back and it seems to have helped. I will be sore as can be tomorrow. But the headache is gone now.  She went and took Josef outside but he wouldn't go with her. He was pizzed that I was in the house and he was leaving.

  Thanks No Rose, I think it was more a tension and not eating headache. It is better right now.

Trimm, I ate some wings and my friend came over to help me get my ski clothes out of the junk closet from H*ll and she is a massage therapist and got knots out of my back. I am feeling much better, will be sore in the back tomorrow. I think too much skating yesterday in the cold made me tense up. Or it was from not eating. I am drinking a ML so maybe that will help.

JSM I'm glad your headache is better, sometimes it is so hard to get rid of, mine are usually sinus headaches, but irritating. Trimm be careful, my daughter is putting the hooks on some of the ornaments for a little tree upstairs, this is the first time I ever put a tree up this early, but I figured why not, I love to look at the lights. I put garland on the stair railings last year, thought it looked pretty, didn't realize that one of the family would use the rail, which I never do, and pulled it all down, so I won't waste my time on that this year

JSM I'm glad your headache is better, sometimes it is so hard to get rid of, mine are usually sinus headaches, but irritating. Trimm be careful, my daughter is putting the hooks on some of the ornaments for a little tree upstairs, this is the first time I ever put a tree up this early, but I figured why not, I love to look at the lights. I put garland on the stair railings last year, thought it looked pretty, didn't realize that one of the family would use the rail, which I never do, and pulled it all down, so I won't waste my time on that this year 

I think it was more stress than sinus, but I did take a bit of cough medicine and it cleared up my stuffed up head. I think it is great y'all are all putting up your decorations so early. Since I won't be hear for Christmas  I won't have a tree, but will put lights outside on the off chance I could win a prize. Most others have put out their lights a strand or two, but JSM is a Griswold and will blind them by the lights.
