KJ said meeting was *critical*. Sure, it convinced Carlo that Joran was guilty.

Paulus convinced Freddy to change his Monday story.

Yet on 6/13 Deepak says Freddy knew beach story on tuesday.

And we know Freddy was told the HI story the day before.

8. WHOSE CAR WERE THEY DRIVING?
The initiative for the tour at night came from Joran, but he did not have his driver's license yet. The most logical answer is that 21-year old Deepak was driving. Maybe in his dad's car, or his own car, it is not quite sure.

Also, this has probably been discussed, but I'm struggling with reading back so many pages and trying to catch up. (percocet = short attention span). Did they carry anything out, evidence wise, from Kalpoes?

Maybe Carlos' partners told him if he wanted to associate with the likes of PVDS, they should both take a hike.

Perhaps they decided they didn't need the kind of publicity having them both on staff would generate.

I was under the impression they were not allowed to remove things....just look.  It would have taken a different kind of warrant to be able to search and seize which they didn't have.

All I got is the same thing they've been saying since the search began.  Nothing new.  Asking if it's a real effort by the Dutch or a last minute dog and pony show before case is closed.....
