So my husband has the week off for Memorial Day, and came up with a bright idea  Some guy he works with has a house up in Big Bear and he rents the house out. Last time we were up to Big Bear was when the kids were little, and that historic cabin  what a joke, couldn't even get tv reception. So I said to him just now, does the tv reception work, does a lap top work, and WTH are we going to do? Here's his answer, hike, enjoy the view, walk to the grocery store, and get this ice skate  I said you are kidding right? He says it is an indoor ice skating rink, I said, well no kidding, even I'm not that dumb that I figured we would be ice skating outside in June. He sure comes up with some great ideas  I told him, I'm not breaking my hip for anybody, and besides look at the mess you are in with your knee and shoulder, oh yeah, ice skating is a great idea.

I thought that said, does a lap dance work?  I thought you were trying to bribe him not to go.  I read it over 4 times until I got it right.  I thought, don't tell me she is going out with those swingers again.

I have an idea!  Tell hubby to go to the cabin and you and the girls can go treat yourselves to a spa for a couple of days.  You need it.  Doctors orders, you don't have to tell him who Dr. Bearly is, I'll write you a note.

Spa Therapy, gentle and relaxing for no less than one week and no more than 2 months.  This
must be done at a qualified resort.  The Patient has a list of these Spas.  She also has my
recommendations so listen to her.

No housework, garden work, or lifting a finger for anything that resembles work in any way,
shape, or form for at lease 2 months.

Please speak quietly around this Patient during this time, there should be no arguing with her.
To do otherwise may be very detrimental to her health and then she will need at least twice
as much Spa Therapy.

Patient to be re-evaluated in 2 months.

And while I'm at it, what is the government waiting for with this oil spill? It makes me ill what is all happening down there. Someone, some place must have a solution to this horrible situation?

I feel a rant coming too but I will try to refrain. Azz.

This is beyond disgusting, and hopefully someone in that White House will knock some sense into him 

More than likely golf is more important than honoring our Veteran's, give me a 9 iron I will knock some sense into him.

It was crazy,you know he was in the service for years.Freak accident he was involved in and he was left a quadriplegic after all the traveling he did.Crazy.Spent the last 9 years of his life in V.A. hospitals and mental wards.I think it sux.    Makes me sick to think of how our administration is now.IMO

Ok this is coming from way left field.  I am listening to the Tommy tapes and I have to say I am laughing, I know these tapes are never amusing but my goodness Lindsey is hot to trot on this first audio.  Reminds me of Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies - she plays this meek mild sort of naive little wallflower and then there is the scene where she is dressed in black leather skimpy's swinging from one of the bed posts for Arnold.  OMG
