Specifically this reader said," There was no executive order issued by President Obama but instead a memo issued by the director of ICE -- major difference."

For the record ICE did not issue the memo. ICE was told to issue the memo from the White House which presumably is run by the president and presumably he told his staff to issue the memo. While this memo is not called the DREAM act, it has all the ingredients of the DREAM act.

Charles Kratuhammer says it as follows:

‘This is outright lawlessness on the part of the administration,” argued syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer on a discussion panel with Fox News’ anchor Chris Wallace. “Whatever the politics of this, we do have a Constitution. And under it, the Legislature, the Congress enacts the laws and the executive executes them. It doesn’t make them up.

“The DREAM Act was rejected by Congress,” Krauthammer continued. “It is now being enacted by the executive, despite the express will of the Congress. That is lawless. It may not be an explicit executive order; it’s an implicit one.’

Now couple this ICE directive with with Obama's DOJ friend of the court brief recently filed to block the new voter ID law in Arizona and you really wonder what Obama's motives are for enacting a neo DREAM act directive through ICE and blocking voter ID in Arizona. Remember Arizona gets roughly 500,000 illegal aliens coming though Arizona every year and nearly 70% of all illegal aliens in the US come through Arizona.

A TV person explained it this way...my paraphrase.
 
You and your neighbor have homes, separated by a property line.  Your garage has a nice car in it and your neighbor's does not.  Does the fact that your neighbor doesn't have a car give him the right to enter your garage and take yours?

If your neighbor brings his child along, and has the child take the car and perhaps some tools, is that acceptable behavior?

Is it ever acceptable to just break in and take what you want?

"Circumventing Congress: Failed Dream Act Mandated by ICE Director"

The director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement has made official the Obama administration’s declaration that the DREAM Act — the amnesty bill for illegal aliens — is now federal law, despite the bill’s having failed in the Senate last year.

ICE chieftain John Morton published a memorandum on June 17 giving federal prosecutors and agents carte blanche prosecutorial discretion in deciding whether illegal aliens should be deported. Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas, left) declares that he will overturn Morton’s ukase with legislation, and the union representing the nation’s ICE employees says that in light of Morton’s memo, ICE officers will not know which illegals to detain or arrest, and will therefore be pressured to let them go.

Napolitano Admitted DREAM Act Was Law

The effect of Morton’s memo is to codify in writing what was already unwritten policy since before President Obama took office. But his administration has declared the DREAM Act to be law. Dream, Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors was an amnesty bill which would have made deporting illegals virtually impossible if they met a list of conditions that Morton included in his memo.

The New American reported in April that Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Morton refused to deport illegals. Speaking at a confabulation of leftists, Napolitano said that if illegals “truly meet those [criteria], they’re not the priority.” Those “criteria” contained in the failed DREAM Act are now in writing in Morton’s memo. “The reason we set priorities is so that the focus could be on those in the country who are also committing other illegal acts,” she said.

Said Morton, “If you take a look at the record, people that fit within the confines of the Dream Act, there are in fact very, very few deportations of those kinds of individuals.”

American citizens getting the shakedown
This is an outrage perpetrated on the American people by this Administration that needs to be fired with extreme prejudice.

People like this are why the Nation is falling apart; why there are no jobs; why rapist and murderers get to go free; & why our classrooms are overfilled with students that come from families that have never paid a d**n penny to the taxes that provide for the schooling.

How many billions of dollars from those here illegally are sent offshore to home countries on a monthly basis? 

How many billions of dollars a month are stolen/taken from America's economy?  Money that builds other nations while Americans increasingly lose their jobs to foreign workers and illegals in this country?
