No not during spring break lol. I love that place...but loved New Orleans better.

I did not feel the best in the world when I came out the last time. I ended up having emergency back surgery 2 weeks before I was to leave to go out there. But was not about to lose my money I had paid for my tickets, so I just pilled and patched up and got on the plane. So hoping this trip is better.

NOROSE, when I went to the doctor the last time I was having trouble with a sore, stopped up ear. There was a big plug of earwax on the eardrum, and they couldn't get it out. I was told to get DEBROX (over the counter) and use as directed. Within a day, the plug came out and I have had no more pain or problem. I don't know if earwax is part of your problem or not.

The best thing I have found for pain is rock salt in a small bag, heated in the microwave or in the oven. It really relieves the pain of an earache. I used to keep a small muslim bag with a draw string just for earaches. The salt pulls the moisture out of the ear.

I hope it is better. I have been plagued with earaches all my life.

I am so tired. I hope everyone had a good day. I got mad at Mass today because they said nothing about the military or wounded soldiers at Fort Hood. I couldn't say anything, because I don't know that deacon, but I didn't like him and won't go back unless I oversleep.

I took Josef to daycare with plans on picking him up tonight. It didn't happen, by the time I got halfway there, I called and told them to feed him and let him sleep. It was getting dark, crazy traffic I guess coming from the TMS (I guess the Nascar race is over) and I was a nervous wreck.

Anyways, about my skating workshop. It was so much fun. I was in the "beginner's" group and was made to do harder things than the others. Then my old coach decided to get on the ice with me and was making me do hard jumps and spins. I landed every jump including a combination jump. Then at the VERY end of class we are doing a these stupid edge things and I fell on my AZZ and my hand. I am going to be so sore in the morning. That is another reason Josef is at school. Mama went SPLAT 

Missed you monkeys today. I am on my way to check other threads. 

Sorry you went splat today. I guess you wouldn't be a real skater if you didn't splat every now and then. At least you got up.

Yeah I was there the last of April both times I have been. It is beautiful country. We went to the Rose gardens in Tyler the first time I came out year before last. I will let you know when I am coming. I am waiting on a special with AirTran before I buy tickets.

I almost mentioned the Rose Gardens except they bring back memories of my engagement (I should have said NO)  , they are beautiful and Tyler in the spring with the Azaleas are beautiful too. Just let me know, I would love to bring coffee to you at the airport (provided it isn't at 12 am, then you will have to meet me in my jammies with Josef in the parking lot)  Any other monkeys that come to the H*ll hole of DFW just give a shout and I will bring coffee too!

Well I hope this trip is better too. I don't blame you for not cancelling. I went to Virginia for a skating exhibition with Sasha Cohen and other great skaters a day after my knee surgery. I wasn't gonna miss it for the world. There was a hurricane/tropical storm that hit us the day we got there. My mom totally freaked that I was going, but I went anyways.

  MUSLIM bag.  Just kidding Fanny, I know what you are talking about. My stepdad just had to have his ears roto rutored for ear wax. Ear wax candles also work. I have never heard of the salt rock in a bag. My earaches are usually because of congestion and I just take sudafed. I will try the rock salt next time.

I can promise it will not be in the middle of the night. More like mid afternoon if I get lucky like last time. I got in a little after 4 so we stoped at Outback Steakhouse and ate and waited on traffic to ease up. And I know what you mean about the saying no part...but then I wouldn't have my kids and grandkids. I am goin to watch Extreme home makeover and will be back. Enjoyed the conversation.

  I did get up very slowly, but I don't see how the real skaters in their programs can fall on a big jump, pop up like nothing happened. Probably cause they are much smaller and are used to it. I on the otherhand believe in not bending my knees, jumping less than a 1/2 foot high and that makes me not (in my mind fall), which is totally the opposite of what keeps you from falling. At least I didn't break my hand tonight. I will have an arse ache in the morning. Sleep well and have a good one. Prayers to your son and family down in the hurricane path.

Well I'm glad you got kids and grandkids out of it Darla. I got five years of suffocation, until I finally ended it.

No Rose, how is Zoe. Do you still have the mouse? There was one on our basketball court I thought it was sleeping, but it didn't move. Then Joe went to sniff something that I thought was someone's leopard thong, it was either a snake that was so squished or one that had shedded it's skin. I screamed bloody murder.  I miss my Josef. I should have picked him up, but I was tired and my muscles ache so bad, there is no way I could have walked him up and down the stairs tonight.

She sounds like she is back to her old self  . I am glad she went after the trouble maker, but didn't hurt Sadie. My neighbor across from me opened her door the same time I was trying to get Josef inside and Josef tried to get in and snap at the dog. This dog barks at him non stop from the balcony when we are outside, so I guess he thought it was time to get him. I felt so bad, but again she didn't have hold of the leash. Good thing she slammed the door on his face. I'm about to get in the tub and call it a night. Sleep well and kiss Zoe for me and one from Josef. He will be fine, I will wear my old jeans tomorrow to pick him up so if he bites me, it won't be a big deal.
