Yes I know there are some things I will never live down Tevye  Thanks for saying I am a smart monkey. I was Trivial Pursuit Queen in College. I have a mind of useless knowlege, but never finished college because I couldn't apply myself. I really think I had/have ADD.

Hello ~ Well I made it back from my trip!  It was wonderful, did not want to come back!!! The B&B was unbelievable.  I think I gained 10lbs.  I really, really enjoyed my time with my mom.  She has aged so much since my father passed and it was magnified on our trip.  I am so glad we got to spent the time together, just her & me.  I brought back peach pie as the peaches are in season now.  Enjoy.

What a beautiful baby!  I love that little rosebud mouth and the chubby little cheeks!!  Congratulations Grandma!!!

Thanks Sunny and Babybear!   And thanks again to all who sent congrats.   I'm looking forward to spending time with the little one, starting tomorrow when they get come from the hospital.     

I'm so far behind....    I guess I'll never catch up.        But I'll be thinking about you guys.

Getting quite interesting on Haleigh's thread though 

I'm gonna check it out.
NoRose,all this insurance stuff is getting confusing to me too.
I think they like it like that.
They are gonna keep their fingers in it.You can count on that.

I was so happy a little while ago.Our other young man in our little neighborhood came to visit hubby and myself.They talked about hunting,and he asked if we needed any help with anything around here.
Hubby spent some time with him out in the woods,you know talking about stuff that has happened.He said school kids are getting back into the swing of things...more less let hubby know that he was o.k. and it's pretty darn good to be among the living.
He has such good parents.He hasn't been allowed to go home after school.He and his little sister have to come next door to me and stay with Granny until one of the parents get home.I know they have been so worried.   
Made me feel good that he felt comfortable here.We checked out some movies and music.Does my heart good to see a happy kid.    I think I will sleep well tonight.

Trimm, I will be so audacious as to say, on behalf of a lot of monkeys, you and your hubs are awesome people. Some folks, in your current situation, could have turned away and said "No, sorry, can't do that again. Can't bring up painful memories". But you two stepped up. Way to go!

What is the deal with our Miss Fanny? Is she mad at us? Has she ascended past the Grasshopper stage?
