yep....and he is the one that started it saying there was another different matter to take up and I notice when all the attorneys were standing in the courtroom Mason seemed to be doing all the talking

yes and did you notice before the prosecution went back with the others LDB had her hand up by her mouth kinda like a nervous gesture or a pensive gesture?

I didn't but will watch it again when DH gets in from mowing, thanks for the heads up

I am trying to figure out what the judge met with the defense exparte and I wonder why none of the talking heads are talking about it

Lat. 'By or for one party' or 'by one side.'

Refers to situations in which only one party (and not the adversary) appears before a judge. Such meetings are often forbidden.

Although a judge is normally required to meet with all parties in a case and not with just one, there are circumstances where this rule does not apply and the judge is allowed to meet with just one side (ex parte) such as where a plaintiff requests an order (say to extend time for service of a summons) or dismissal before the answer or appearance of the defendant(s).

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Anthony family's private investigator will have to answer questions under oath in the case against Casey Anthony, but he'll get more time to prepare.

Private Investigator Dominic Casey was set to be deposed on Thursday, but it's been pushed back until December 16. Dominic Casey filed a motion (read) on October 21, to stop his November deposition.

Dominic has been trying to get out of the deposition. He says because he once worked for Casey’s defense team, he shouldn't have to answer any questions.

Dominic Casey was videotaped in the woods near the Anthony family home in November, one month before Caylee Anthony’s remains were found there on December 11.

...and I hope none of us ever see this kind of mangling of a justice proceeding again. The Fl. bar should never have allowed baez in, his moral character hasn't changed. He mocks truth and feels entitled to use any dirty trick to prove a point.

I so agree with this - he is not the caliber morally or ethically that an attorney should be.
He has pulled almost every dirty trick in the book to try and subvert justice for little Caylee.

He would fit right in with the legal system in Aruba.

True, they'd probably appoint him as a judge in training.

After all the talk JP has done about wanting to stay on schedule and after yesterday's pinning down all sides on a timeline of next week, it takes some big, hairy jewels to come up with something this morning that canceled court.  I'd have been shaking in my pumps had I been the defense.

Kenneth Furton's testimony at the Frye hearing. Baez was the person taking his testimony, which makes it very strange that he wasn't involved in today's deposition. Dorothy Sims took over instead. Things that make you go hmmm.

This is off topic but I noticed some monkeys reporting on George and his Kleenex inspections..... I am watching HLN right now and that's all they show!
