Does Bozo have any of his own witnesses (not people who are just going to try to smera away the evidence and specialists), that will have anything positive to say that could possibly prove this was an accident, people who will say George molested her, evidence of prior anything that could be positive for her defense.

The defense will have their turn to call witnesses and the State will get to cross-examine those people...all in due time.

Jury dismissed for recess until 10 after 10.

Casey seems to think she has something to smile at Baez about.

Does she NOT understand that her case is in shambles and she will most likely be spending the rest of her life in jail?  I just don't think she gets it.  I think she is believing that she will be set free.

Casey Anthony trial: Yuri Melich called to stand after former friend, Universal manager testifies
By Walter Pacheco and Bianca Prieto, Orlando Sentinel
9:43 a.m. EDT, June 2, 2011

Yuri Melich, the lead investigator in the Casey Anthony murder case, returned to the stand this morning as the third witness of the day.

He was called after state attorneys questioned a manager at Universal Studios who told deputies Casey Anthony had not worked at Universal Studios since 2006.

Casey Anthony had told investigators and others that she worked at the theme park, but Leonard Turtora, an assistant manager of loss prevention, said she had worked for Color Vision, a third-party vendor.

Turtora told that to lead investigator Melich, who called Casey Anthony to the park.

All this happened before Anthony, now 25, was charged with killing daughter Caylee Marie Anthony in 2008.

I do not think that he does have a postive witness for the hearing part.

I do think he has witnesses on the sentencing phase that he "HOPES" will say something positive..ie..they love her or like her..and actually they are Casey's family members and extended family. They will say they don't want her to get the DP..that's about it..spare her life....but nothing to say she isn't guilty..because guilt will already have been determined by sentencing.

Question for all of you monkeys with good memories...On Day 17, when Cindy broke down on the stand as a result of the 911 calls, did they play the "the huge waste" jail phone call?  Does anyone remember if it was before the breakdown or after?  I'm trying to go through the WFTV videos, and I can't find it...TIA
Monka, I believe it was after

They did play the "huge waste" video and I believe it was after her breakdown and she has a mini-breakdown during that video too.

Do you think that Cindy, seeing all these people come in and tell a different story about Casey, has come to the realization that Casey is a liar and had an imaginary life?  If it were me, my first thought would be, 'oh my gosh, what my granddaughter must have been exposed to.'  Cindy has gotta be thinking along those lines.

But, like the state has all this evidence, DNA, air samples, decom dogs, etc., does Bozo even have any evidence, or does all he have is people who will try to shoot down the state's evidence?  I didn't really understand the witness lists, so many changes on there and names I didn't recognize?  Also, about how many people does he have to call after the state is done?  After he is done, does the state get like a rebuttal or something, or right into closing statements , where state goes first, then bozo, and does the state get a final closing?

If it were me, I'd be thinking back to KC's childhood and wonder if there were signs and what I could've done differently so that Caylee would still be here.
