maybe she is getting tired of pretending to be normal.  I don't believe that the defense team doesn't know who and what this girl is though.  I think they are doing everything procedurally they can to save her life b/c they know that their case stinks.

Morning, Monkeys!  I am trying to follow while on vacation, not an easy feat!

One thing I'm not understanding is why the defense is focusing on blaming LE for not investigating others when they, the defense, have admitted in opening statements that Caylee drowned.     Why would LE move past the mother of the child, the last person to see the child alive when all she does is lie and most of what she said could not be corroborated?

I'm still scratching my head on why the defense wanted her tested for competency. Either they wanted to buy time, wanted her to fail the test (I wonder if she tried to act nuts?), or wanted it on the record that she's sane.  Go figure.....

This stunt is going to come back and bite the Defense. Playing games, stalling as the jury is made to wait.

At this point in the trial, the defense files a motions as to Casey’s competency, really? What does that tell us as to how they think their case is going that they would look to have the trial stopped on such a technicality as to the competency of Casey Anthony? The Defense wasted a day of trial because of Casey’s so-called competency? What must the jury think of such a legal game played by the Defense as they have seen Casey laughing during the trial, smiling as well as some well timed tears.
