No rose, I agree about the scary school!

Never in my life have I seen a school that is being used have unkempt grounds like Kyron's! Why in the world do they allow weeds to grow so high there? Right close to the school building and right where they kids walk? It's unbelievable to me. My son saw the pictures last night with me and said, well, you found him. He's in those weeds. (He was kidding, but they surely are a hazard. Who knows who could hide in them!)

Here are two of the pictures to show what I am talking about from radionewz's site. The same stairs are in both pics. The one showing the school is showing the side entrance.

Btw ... good morning, monkeys!

Good morning Brandi, I freaked when I saw those pictures right out of a horror movie, WTH, thanks for bringing them over. You could lose a lot of kids in the overgrown weeds and lawn, good place for hide and seek. I have never seen anything like it either.

Thank-you, the school itself the red brick reminds me kind of my old high school, though ours was much bigger and cleaner and well kept up on the river's bank. If I were a little kid it would haven taken my parents a lot of hard work to get me to that school. My imagination would have been on overdrive. I have always had a wild imagination.  LOL  Example the theater we had in town when I was about 7 had a poster of Frankenstein, I was convinced he was real and was going to destroy the town. My dad had to call the theater and have them talk to me and explain it was a movie and that Frankenstein wasn't real. I really feel bad for my parents, and I see why I'm an only child  LOL

I am trying so hard to get cartfly's attention. She is in the Kyron thread.

She is using her full-sized avatar as a sig image!!!

She left me a post the other day thanking me for it, and I replied, posting a sig-sized avatar for her to use, but I don't think she went and read my reply. I also mentioned it in a post to her in Kyron's thread.

If anyone could mention it to her (to go to my thread and see my reply to her) without being too off topic, I'd appreciate the help. LOL

Sometimes it is so hard to contact people here about avatar stuff without being off-topic! It gets so frustrating for me.

hahaha about being an only child. Wink

But when we're young, you're right, we are very impressionable about things and do fear the unknown. I agree.

That place is just plain scary, and IMO, dangerous in many ways.

I asked Cartfly to go and check your thread. It is dangerous, and who knows if there are snakes and other creatures in all that overgrown mess. I was surely expecting to see a nice school, nothing like this. One picture of some steps, very spooky.

That crazy family that lives across from me, the one where the husband is constantly doing car repairs and welding, even with the oxygen in the garage, though now the child is off of it, is at it again. They bought a beat up ole red truck, why, since they own two nice cars, I have no idea, but today the husband, wife and older kid who is 4 are all working on it. The noise is driving me crazy, so I'm going to Michaels to look around. I took another stomach pill so maybe walking around it will help this stupid stomach of mine. Oh how I can't stand these neighbors. This is the most inconsiderate bunch of morons, and who knows where the 1 year old is. I heard the mother yell to the oldest to go give him some blocks to play with so he stops crying. I pray they aren't wooden blocks, but with this bunch who knows?

My older daughter called and she and her husband went to an estate sale, they got there near the end, and you should see what they all got, sofa bed tables chairs, pots and pans towels curtains, etc all for ten dollars, I guess we taught her well how to get a bargain  LOL    Does anybody know of a website that you can go on to get info on a sailor. The military records of a World War II Navy Sea Bee, my husband asked me to ask on here. He wants to find out stuff about his dad, thanks.

NRCG    The best place I can think of is Ancestry.com  It is a pay site but you can do a monthly service.  They have lots of military records.  The other is the National Archives. I would have to go though my records to find the address. You have to write for the information. They do have a web site.

I am off to go check up on a friend. I haven't been able to reach her for a couple days. And we talk every night.

What wonderful news for you daughter. Have a good evening
