Blue Oyster Cult was one of the first concerts I ever went to! Styx/Zebra was actually the very first. It was 198?, don't remember (82-3 ish)?

But wait! JSM, I'm so glad Josef is all right! Our Aussie is a member of our family, he's a complete gentleman (but I don't see him up on the porch helping me snip these beans. Fine, no beans for him this winter!) Since our cattle dog was put down earlier this summer, I'd be lost without him. So I totally get your love and concern.

but someday, ask me about doing surgery (stitch up) on a cattle dog at home...with Doritoes as the anesthetic!

Thanks Tevye, he seemed fine this morning, but they are going to watch him at daycare. I'm sorry your cattle dog was put down this summer.  I want to know about doritoes as anesthetic? That is a new one on me.

They are going to give me drugs, but some of them I don't like. ( And some I does, lol ) The recovery plan for me is to reconnect with my world as I knowed it B4 asap.

I live right next door to a restaurant where I go every morning to pick up a cup of their famous Canadian coffee to get myself to work. The Nurse thinks that this is where I am going for breakfast every morning just to see people and have some part of my routine. And eat and realize that yes, the sun did come up again that day and it will shine on me once more!

Hey Kat, thanks for the tip about telling the grandchildren. When all this started, they just knew that "Mimi had a back problem". Now we'll tell them it's an arm thing. Good idea.
