she didn't until recently and she has joint custody with her mom...I had him most if his life until recently

Here is one piece of advise, we learned after $50,000. (grand total - close to $200,00 -abig lawyers game IMO, Tell your son to do his homework and find out who the judge hangs out with - which lawyer.  Hire a lawyer that is friends with the judge!!  We had to, in our case, she recused herself, Thank God.  She has the reputatiom and well deserved to be all time Mother's judge.  She was aweful!!

there were 9 lawyers in this case and cps also and their lawyer....it is a joke to say the least....the judge seems to forget "HE" is the one who removed this baby not me...

The judges are the worse.  They need to held more accountable. IMO

I totally agree with you especially this one....and all family court judges and lawyers and cps also imo with what I have been through the past almost 2 years and still going through...no evidence was ever allowed in court either...

Our first judge messed up so badly, that she made gag order so we couldn't talk about it with anyone.  It was terrible,  But in the end, the truth prevailed, we got the kids.  She lost her meal tickets - never called, never saw them.  We didn't want any child support nor did we expect any but our Judge and Lawyer insisted because she has a legal obligation to help support her children.  She never paid and was willing to allow me to adopt if would agree not to go after the arrears.  We glady did and she signed over her parental rights. (not as easey as it sounds)

an appeal has been filed and my son is fighting hard also....I don't think I will ever understand how the people who are their proffessionaly to protect children can fail them so badly just because someone gave birth to them...it is so wrong to the children....and it goes on everyday in the court systems

I know, It was so frustrating.  All hearsay!!  We had a court appointed guardian et lidem.  She was very good, a lawyer, and mom.  When she was ready to tesify against her, her lawyer filed some "hear say" motion.  But because our lawyer knew all her creditionals. we were allowed to get her sworn as an expert witness and even more was introduced.    Her lawyer's plan (a good one) backfired in their face.  Our lawyer outsmarted him on that one.

I know, it is sooooooooo disgusting.  I worked for DCF (cps) and omg the imcompetence of some of the case workers.

You need him off the case.  It is not easy but it can be done.  Find a lawyer he likes!!
