Speaking of tranquilizing animals.............. take a look at this notice posted on the Bays Mt Park website. Bays Mt is just behind me, and those wolves have been loose for weeks now. Notice the phrases "Our wolves pose no threat to surrounding areas" and then, "Do Not approach or attempt to capture them"

Morning GE, I was just rolling at the comic you posted. I needed that laugh, but true enough, it is downright cold. I went and bought new slippers yesterday, little cows.lol, I like the animal and character slippers. They are so warm.

Hi GE, sorry had laid down to try to nap, not sleeping much. Daughter is doing ok, had a scare not long ago, she was having stabbing pains and some other things, but doc said she is ok, he put her back on bed rest. wish he'd put me on bed rest, I need it LOL  Thanks for asking and the well wishes and prayers.

You and your daughter, and of course, her baby, are in my prayers.

 

Thank you Bearly. She sees the doctor again next week, unless something happens before then. I think she is further along then they say. She is getting huge and started feeling movement over 3 weeks ago.

Hope everyone is making it okay in the cold  I'm fed up & sick to death of it!  Sorry, i shouldn't start my day on a negative note 
The kids went back to school 1 day & then were out 2 & we had no snow or ice. Just frozen roads from the temps!

CBB, I just now read your post about the Dolly Parton pic & it was hilarious!!! 

Klaas: Petey is so adorable! My girls have a new pup. i don't even know what kind he is; Harley has short legs, long hair that's white with black spots & a longer little body, and is the sweetest little thing! I'll try & get a pic!!

I have another cake to post "Miami Hurricanes" I'll try & get it up later. There's really not much to it unless you're a Miami fan!! 


Oh & Klaas, I took a pic of the sunrise here Fri morn. I'm usually not up quite that early but I had a Dr. appt. Anyways, it was so pretty i took some pics. I'll try & get them up today too!

Cute puppy!  He looks a little like a King Cavalier Spaniel mix maybe?  His nose is longer but his ears and body remind me of them.

Hi everyone!  I have been a member since the Caylee saga started and I usually just lurk, but I had to come out and say Hi because I am a Petey groupie!!!  So cute how he had so much room to sneak in but he had to snuggle right up next to his friend.

Good Morning All
I couldn't post this yesterday, i just couldn't. Just after I posted the pictures of little Harley, my daughter called & said he had been hit by a car. They live way out, 15 miles outside the city on 35 acres & the main road is a long way from the house. Every morning they let Harley out with Kingston & when he's done, he comes back to the glass door to be let in. Well, a kind soul found him run over in the road & brought him up to the house. My daughter & son in law immediately rushed him to the vet. His pelvis & legs are broken & if he is unable to have a bowel movement they will put him to sleep. I just cannot believe this happened. The area is like a family compound. My daughter, mom, sister & brother all have homes on this property. I'm the only odd-ball that lives in the city.They all have dogs & have never had one hit in all the years they've been out there. I guess it's inevitable if they're allowed to run loose. I'm so glad the girls were with us. This just makes me sick, poor little precious puppy
