NM I think you are right.  Did we have some speculation that the "granny pad" could have been a garage at one time?  It may be right in front of that area.  it may be part of the circular drive.  I am wondering why that area though.  it is pretty visible, and people would certainly notice a hold having been dug there i think.  so many questions, so little information.

My prayers are for the well being of all monkeys, whether I remember the names and ailments.  Also for the Dutch team and Tim and all who are seeking information and justice in this case (and so many others).  

I don't know if they'll be able to find evidence, but it's worth noting that the Dutch are putting a lot of time and money into this case.  Like our FBI, the Dutch investigators have many cases and matters to spread among their law enforcement resources.  They negotiated with Aruba to have separate offices and for full police power while in Aruba.  They would not take the case without these conditions being met.  I'm thinking that they are investigating the disappearance of Natalee Holloway but realize they may find evidence of other crimes that the police corps, gov't officials or judges might be guilty of.  In fact, I think it's one of the things they are looking for.  If they can find evidence of the crime, they will find evidence of dirty cops and others who are not only involved in the cover up, but other illegal activities.

Actually, I have a feeling that the call for reinforcements (at least some of them - non forensic) was based on the scope of corruption - much bigger than they had thought. JMO.

I've said from the beginning that outside intervention is the only way this would resolve, because internally, Aruba is too messed up.

Specifically, the weekend of 6/10/2005 made me think immediately of Phenix City, ALA, and some here will know what I'm talking about. It isn't just the NH case, it's other stuff, and deeply entrenched.

In the case of PC AL, it was an over-the-top incident - one specific murder case - that brought the bad guys down. Here's hoping Natalee is that catalyst for Aruba.

Is there anyone here willing to volunteer to do commentary on the Dana program tonight.  I have painters coming to do all my ceilings tonight and we have to start dressing the furniture area.  I am not sure where they will be painting when Dana is on so if someone would be so kind--- if someone would try to just do highlights while discussion here taking place.
