When Beth attempted to sue Joran in NY, members of RU and SCRUX (lead by Medleyrelay and Roger) set up a way to get donations to Joran through JoeT.

Then, when the Kalpoes sued Dr. Phil, they took donations ($1800) to take out an AD in the NYPost or Times an OPEN LETTER TO OPRAH.

They are sick people.

Hummm an open letter and it was only $1,800.  Interesting.

How he must have laughed at all of us who believed in him and contributed to funds for his legal fees and don't forget the New York Times ad that was placed that I think cost $1800.00.

Dugo, you are right about not getting involved with the personalities in cases that we follow but there was just something about this [Natalee] case and I don't understand what or why.

I wonder if YIF realizes it wasn't just Joran laughing at them all?  They should look a little closer to home at two others who played them like a fiddle.  That would be "Glenda" and "MF".

Not sure if you're addressing me but...this article I posted is about Peru

Sorry searcher ,I got lazy.  Some articles say he wants to go to Aruba to confess and others say he wants Aruban officials to come to Peru .

Him going to Aruba isn't going to happen...unless he's shipped back in a crate. Once the PLE get into that computer...anything he says about Natalee's location may be mute...I hope, the key word is may. It may be a new puter so Natalee info may never have been on it..but if it's an old one, it's quite possible he's stupid enough to have this location info in there

I wish they'd stop implying that the money he extorted enabled him to kill Stephanie. Regardless of where he was at the time, he'd have killed someone anyway for the money. Then he'd still have ended up in Peru after robbing his victim. He's a psycopath for God's sake!

I wonder if Joran is asking to speak to a specific Aruban official.  Does he want to tell them they better help him out or he'll let the house of cards fall.  It it's allowed, it will be interesting to see who shows up. 

I still think Joran is toying with them and buying time.  

Would it be possible for Aruba LE to visit with him in Peru to take a statement from him and if so, would it be a private meeting?

If he truly wanted to give the whereabouts of Natalee, he could tell it now and pass the information through Peruvian LE or his lawyer, couldn't he???

I agree can.  But remember, he does have one Ace up his sleeve.  He knows that members of ALE/judiciary/OM covered up for he and his father's crime.  And Aruba knows he knows that.

Aruban authorities are probably falling all over themselves trying to either get him shut up permanently in Peru, or to try and help get him to Aruba to "tell all" where they will shut him up permanently themselves.

They have a LOT to lose!

Good Morning Monkeys.  I can't stand Geraldo...he's an idiot and a publicity hound.  I'd like to see something official on the charges against Joran.  Interesting to hear JQKelly's assessment of Joran - from a lawyer, those were strong words.

NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Joran van der Sloot's new attorney says his client's confession doesn't hold water - and he's asking a judge to throw it out, saying it was made without proper representation.

Van der Sloot's attorney, Maximo Altez, said Thursday that his client's confession was void on the grounds that he made it in the presence of a defense lawyer who was appointed by police.

But the chief of Peru's criminal police, Gen. Cesar Guardia, dismissed the lawyer's claim, saying that not only was van der Sloot properly represented by his government-appointed defense attorney, the Dutch translator present during the interrogation was assigned by the Dutch Embassy.

"The incriminatory elements were so powerful that he had to confess," Guardia said, adding that the evidence included blood stains found on Van der Sloot's clothing.

Van der Sloot was moved Thursday across downtown Lima, protected by a bulletproof vest, to a cell at the prosecutor's office where officials were preparing to file charges in the May 30 killing of Stephany Flores, who police say he met playing poker at a casino three days earlier.

Altez could not be reached directly for comment, but a person answering his cell phone identified himself as the lawyer's secretary and said Altez was unavailable. Later calls went unanswered.

If tried and convicted on murder charges, Van der Sloot would face from 15 to 35 years in prison.

A Peruvian judge has ordered that Joran van der Sloot be held on murder charges in death of a woman in Lima, Peru.

The Dutchman, long the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of a U.S. teen in Aruba, has confessed to killing the woman in a hotel room.

Van der Sloot admitted under police questioning Monday that he killed 21-year-old Stephany Flores on May 30.

Van der Sloot claimed he killed Flores in a rage after learning she had looked up information about his past on his laptop.  His confession came on his third full day in Peruvian police custody.

Flores, a business student, was found beaten to death, her neck broken, in the 22-year-old Dutchman's hotel room. Police said the two met playing poker at a casino.

Police released video from hotel security cameras that shows the two entering Van der Sloot's hotel room together at 5 a.m. and Van der Sloot leaving alone four hours later with his bags. Police say Van der Sloot left the hotel briefly at 8:10 a.m., returning to the room with two cups of coffee and bread purchased across the street at a supermarket.

Van der Sloot remains the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, then 18, on the Caribbean resort island of Aruba while she was celebrating her high school graduation.

He was arrested twice in the case — and gave a number of conflicting confessions, some in TV interviews — but was freed for lack of evidence.  He was captured in Chile last week.
