I haven't had the luxury of "being" anywhere special, Third. Just incredibly busy. I'm at work right now, as a matter of fact. But I miss the monkeys and I'll work my way back in. That's a promise ( or a threat, depending on your perspective )  

Monkeys are a wonderful group of people, and some of them ( uh-hum, third ) are really good for the ego. Thanks for the compliment.

Gosh...that woman is an inspiration to every parent out there!! What she's been through...what she faces...it's inconceivable to even think of the pain she has had to endure over this past year plus without getting emotional.  I wish there was something I could personally do for her and Dave...

No doubt! I wondered when the NY judge decided not to hear the case if she and Dave would toy with going to Aruba for a civil suit, but was almost glad they didn't take that route. I just want Joran to have to withstand the ordeal. Some accountability, you know?

But seriously...it's extremely easy to throw compliments around when all you're really doing is exposing the truth of one's beauty, CBB.  There's not enough beauty in the world right now.  We need all we can get, and you my dear are doing a lot more then your part...that's for sure!

The thing about Beth is that she did it all right. She got there so quickly, had Joran's ID the same night, found his house, got the authorities, etc. etc. She took the right steps, pounded the pavement, engaged the media, and fought so hard for her daughter. Dave too.
It's such an injustice!

Hi, I have a small suggestion of something we all can do for Beth and Dave. We can do all we can to protect this board for Natalee and be kind to one another, even allow others to agree to disagree, so that this effort continues with as much poster momentum as possible? I think too many strong posters have been lost with all the alliances of late, it's sad.

Food for thought.

First off, let me give you my personal condolences for the loss of your husband.  I am truly sorry for you, and I have felt bad for the way things have been between us.  Just wanted you to know you have been in my prayers...

In regards to your point...all I can say is that I agree with you, and have tried to be as tolerant as I can be of late.  I really do appreciate the sensitive nature of the subject matter, and I promise you I only try and be as friendly as I possibly can be at any given time.  My apologies in advance if it sometimes seems otherwise...
