I too voted yes, and Leonard I would be happy to fly down and help in any part of this (cept the diving!)
I posted the thread about the differences between Leonard and Tim, and I am thrilled that he would do this.
If anyone is interested in seeing the picture of the tree carving, as well as the view from that carving, it's here:
http://justice4caylee.forumotion.net/search-effort-f12/prayer-vigil-and-the-tree-carving-with-kaley-t503.htm

Thank you LP.

Thanks for posting that ... I had heard that the name was misspelled, but did not know that it was spelled with a K also...hmmmmmm

The post says this:
    *
Prayer Vigil and the tree carving with KALEY

Post by oviedo45 Yesterday at 8:51 pm
today at bp, there was a prayer vigil with Rev Grunt, LP, Rob Dick and the dive team. while there, one of the divers (also a security man for LP) took me to a tree that was in the site line of the dive and showed me a carving with KALEY and a cross underneath. he is convinced the carving was done around 6 months ago - he thinks casey did it to remind her of the spot where she threw caylee into the water. he said he had viewed myspace postings that casey had made with KALEY spelling rather than Caylee. the vigil was attended by about 75 people and the media. i spoke at length with rev grund afterwards and he would like to have the name of our forum. he cannot understand how this happened and he is still broken hearted by it, IMO. he also had comments on TES.

Casey misspelled her own daughters name in Myspace posts??? How odd!!

In my experience in working with teen mothers and young mothers, I frequently saw them change the spelling of their childrens names.  I think they would try and come up with as many different ways they could spell the name!

PROFITING OFF CAYLEE: THE TDBS INVESTIGATION (PART 3 OF 5)

The sad thing is that it’s not just your typical game players cashing in off Caylee’s name. There are those who claim they care compassionately about the case, about this young girl. Who are these people? Let’s take a closer look at the people creating products off Zazzle.com & various smaller websites capitalizing off Caylee’s name.

THE ZAZZLE EFFECT

I looked at over five user created Zazzle.com “shops” which developed Caylee gear, including t-shirts and cups. The t-shirts retailed for $21.95 and the cups retailed for $12.95.

It irks me that all five of these shops put together, selling their items, would bring a cumulative total nearing 1.5-2 million dollars.

Now, I looked into what was sold and what was brought in. One user made $45,000 off t-shirts alone, that’s a bit nerving for me. Not a single penny was donated to missing person charities, the money went to the user themselves. When I questioned the user, she wrote me an e-mail. Here’s a portion of that e-mail:

I know who you are Mr.Krause. I am a stay at home mother of 2 who is trying to make ends meet. I am in debt with credit cards & I thought, “Why not?” I intend on making money, I don’t give a damn about the case, people will buy my t-shirts because the public thrives off sympathy and I reap the benefits.

Well, you’re wrong. It’s your pathetic excuse that ended up closing your shop because of your stupidity. This 3-year-old girl is not a personal ATM for the public. I don’t care if your broke, you’re in debt so that gives you an excuse? What it tells me is your attitude needs a quick adjustment. People shouldn’t be making money off Caylee, especially among the likes of yourself who create products.

What she didn’t know is that I went a step ahead & pulled her information through several online stories of her problem with the police. A stay at home mom with credit card debt? Nope. Try a drug addict with a drug problem. Really sits well with people when you’re getting high or smoking dope in the name of this child.

You ma’am are a disgrace, to dishonor this child’s name, is pitiful.

-

The other four users simply saw it as an opportunity to profit off the case and didn’t think they were harming anyone. One of the users told me that her t-shirts total brought in $100,000, which she used to put down on a car. Another woman made $60,000 and applied it to pay off her wedding. Again, their attitude is that they have a right to create whatever they want, no one can stop them, and that what they are doing is harmless. In one e-mail, one of the women told me, “you need to mind your own f***ing business.” Great attitude. I have made it my business, deal with it.

-

Even more disgusting was someone who created a “Jessie Murdered Caylee” t-shirt and sold it through the same website, making a profit off Jessie Grund’s name despite the fact OCSD cleared Jessie Grund of any wrongdoing. It’s ridiculous.

-

It’s not just individual users. Others, such as Justice For Caylee, offered bumper stickers for a price. Where did the money end up going for that?

I continue to ask the question, who really cares about Caylee? Some people have bought a new car, some are paying their home mortgages, and others are getting high all in the name of Caylee Marie Anthony. It’s disgusting.

As a result of this article and our investigation, all of the user created shops on Zazzle.com were removed. Individual names were omitted, however, will be shared with the appropriate individuals should they wish to sue the people making money off Caylee Marie Anthony.

Glad that was done. IT is sad when so many profit off such a tragic situation.
I think Dennis Milstead could be one of those with his background which is another terrible thing. I would like to know why he had to go to court and defend himself against a "domestic repeat violence" charge and the respondent was the President of Crimestoppers of Palm Beach, FL?

If you missed the court info on that yesterday I posted about Page 1 with info.

I think there are alot of people hiding out there behind organizations that are suppose to do good.

Is it possible that since Casey did not name Caylee she used Kaylee as her "own" spelling?

Morning monkey friends. Anything new? I'm assuming the Lee leaving with cops rumor was just that -- a rumor.
This smiley reminds me of Lee for some reason.

My first thought was she used the spelling Kaley on her site to spite her mother.

Bearly -- I love your avi. Reminds me of Holly Hobbie, a childhood favorite.

And I agree IamHere -- Casey would have done just about anything to spite her mother. Sadly, that probably includes killing her daughter.

Seems like it has been a very long time!  I know he wasnt around during the time of the indictment, but cant remember how long before that.  The last time I can remember seeing him was around the time he tore the sign out of the dog lady's hand in front of his enabler's house!!!!!

This morning I had a phone call from one of my close friends at Florida Fish and Wildlife, she is a manager down here for SWFL and Everglades.  She was calling regarding personal things, but I had asked her what was new in "Jungle World" as that is what I call her job.  This is where it gets interesting...and I do not mean to be gross or gorey, just thought it pertained as we have all debated this issue in the past on this board.

She said that they are having trouble with the alligators and the road ways.  Apparently these gators are trecking up the side of the canal wall to get the dead animals from the road way that have been hit, and in turn often getting hit themselves, leaving them dead or injured.  She went on to talk about the danger of dealing with an injured alligator - as if you would have to tell me..I see their teeth!  I found it interesting though that they would go after a dead thing.

I just found this post on WS, and I had to share.. it seems to make sense to me..

http://websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2929547&postcount=92

The real travesty is the fact that this child's own family, most specifically her own mother, is the reason for this so called media circus.

The real travesty is that it shouldn't have ever come down to a complete stranger wanting to search for her.

The real travesty is that it is taking a bounty hunter, who deals with hardened criminals on a daily basis, to have the heart soft enough to want to continue looking for this precious little girl.

Leonard is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't, because if he does, he will continue to be criticized and called a media whor....well you know. If he doesn't people will criticize him saying he had his media time and is going back. More than likely, the people in both scenarios above will be the same.

I don't blame him one bit for trying to get a feel for public opinion, simply because of the above scenarios!!

What this precious little girl needs, is someone MAN enough, and with enough balls to stand up to everyone and anyone who is getting in the way of finding this child and giving her the justice she deserves. If Leonard is that man, and we all know he has the balls to do so, then I say more power to him. He has my full support. How anyone on earth can say that it is a waste of money to find this child, just blows my mind. God help them that it shall not ever be their child, or grandchild, etc. Then let them tell me what price do you put on that child's worth.

Excellent post. Thanks for bringing it over anothermonkey.

Oh boy Dolce.  I hope Caylee was placed in some sort of container. I also wonder how much was left of her when she was dumped by "Mother of the Freakin Year."

Saw something interesting on Skeleton Stories. Did y'all know a baby/toddler has about 350 bones? They are soft and fuse together as the child grows. So as adults we have fewer bones. Softer bones decompose more rapidly unless somehow protected from the elements.

I want five minutes alone with Casey. That's all.

Murt on the phone with a guy who is saying he's in Stockholm and he's knows who made the death threat (his friend?).  Says it was just a joke. I just started tuning in.

Dang, just when I was going to bed.... NOT a very good joke IMO...

How is the headache, Monkey Friend (whispering)?

Yeah, but it sure does beat the alternative, huh?

Very interesting tidbit of info there.  If Casey were to be that horrific in nature, my bet would be Lake Jessup.  Alligators do not chew their food...another interesting tidbit.

Good morning Bearly... I hope your back is feeling better today, my internet went down for a bit last night . A dear friend gave me a tip to help with that nasty headache and it really helped, so I am off to work this morning. I wonder what new , wild and crazy things this case will bring today? So very sad that Caylee's demise has turned into such a circus...
