Rain is now coming in sheets -- still have electricity -- all is well at this point.
Just baked some bisquits and have lots of ice tea -- I'm set for the day.  No church tomorrow, of course.
What state are you in?
I'm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay.  About 45 miles between the two and I am a bit closer to the Bay.  Plenty of rivers, tributaries within less than a mile.

Thanks Muffy!  I hope SAN did finally evacuate!  Also watching for Monkey updates from those in the path!  I know alot of power is down, so will not worry yet, if we don't hear anything real soon.

Nope, she hasn't yet.  They did manage to buy a generator and all is OK right now but the storm hasn't reached them yet.

I just realized there is a thread about this.  I'm sorry for not checking earlier.  Right now we are okay.  I do have an emergency bag packed and we did get supplies and a generator.  Right now we are just waiting for it to hit.

Thank you all for your concern.

Sister...just wanted to let you know you are in my prayers.  Hope the whole Eastern Coast of Maryland is safe.  My cousin and her husband retired to Ocena City..they live on Assawoman Bay  with their big boat.  So I  know the area well..please be safe.  You sound well prepared.
