but at some point they must have had to come up with the guard story....keep in mind....during the first interrogation, all their stories were IDENTICAL!

That's exactly it - she likes the "idea" of him.  She DREAMED about him when she was a LITLLE GIRL, she said!  Yikes.  She acts like she's 14 and he's 60--and he's the Pope or something.  Bad analogy.  Like he's her "god" that she worships--daddy/daughter type thing.  Ugh.

I could have sworn that Jones' Attorney Lujuez, said on TV today that Jones was next to Joren, not Deepak? Remember the sobbing? Can anyone clarify that?

The locals are just talking about how the timeline does not make any sense because the lighthouse is 20+ mins from the CnC and that the lighthouse area is very isolated and something about a "tunnel of love" they were supposed to go in too which is not near the lighthouse too. SO they did not have time to do all this from when she was last seen.  
 Also that the alot of locals don't believe they ever dropped her off at the hotel.
