Welcome to the Canadian Way...imo I think they are being incredibly tight lipped because they don't want ANY reason for the case they are building to be compromised in ANY way.  They want these two to go down just as badly as the rest of us do. 

We more then likely won't hear much about anything to do with the case until it's in court.  Motives and what not.

I haven't heard if Terri has a lawyer or not yet.  I know she has applied for a public defender and they said it would take time.  I'm wondering if she's working on a deal with the police...but is waiting for her lawyer.  So she's helping, but not really.

I agree and wouldn't want it any other way.  I'm just surprised that's all.  I'll wait forever if it means justice for Tori.  I'm used to the media frenzy that follows cases like this in the U.S.

CBC is reporting that Neighbour's of Rafferty are shocked that he would be involved in anything criminal.

Also reporting that the community is shocked that Terri-Lynn was handing our flyers days after Tori went missing.  T

They are reporting outside of Tarr's house where the memorial grows.

County road 22 in Fergus now - OPP is at a garbage bin.  Very carefully looking it over, taking notes and sealing the bin.  Owner of land is shocked and has been told to stay in his residence.  OPP chopper left about 1 hour ago and no word where it went.  All searches are contained to Wellington County.  Nothing happening outside of Wellington County.


CBC will be airing live video of the garbage bin location shortly.

CP24 news update

Bin is 70 meters south of Wellington County Road 22.

Garbage bin is a communal rural garbage bin.  According to neighbours it was empty a couple of weeks ago .  Police have cordoned off the area and keeping the media back.  They have put forensic seals on the bin now and called for a forensic ident.  The seals are numbered seals and can not be disturbed until forensics identification officers look at it. No confirmation that there is any evidence there yet.  2 marked cars there and one unmarked that are waiting for forensics to arrive.

Terri-Lynne is the 18 year old female who was the woman in the white puffy coat seen walking away from school with Tori on the video .  She has been charged with abduction as well as helping Michael Thomas Rafferty escape after the fact from a crime (MT Rafferty is charged with murder) .  She was born to a stripper then given to another stripper to raise.  The father on the birth cert was the second strippers bf at the time and the birth mother lied and put his name on the birth cert to circumvent adoption. 

Tara is the mother of Tori.
