 Done!!      I'll get to go to the Bahamas & you get to go to the woods.

You do know how to cook cornbread, pinto beans & make gallons of sweet tea, right ??   I told him sincerely & sweetly the other night that he's beginning to resemble a pinto bean after eating so many all these years, but for some reason he wasn't really touched with that compliment. 
 

 

Bud said I didn't have to cook and we could just travel...if I wanted.  He is just so sweet!!   

oh my - you for sure got ahold of the wrong Bud !!!  I told you, gotta be careful with that internet dating.

And me not leaving - Moving to Muse ( not sure if anyone will be there)  .......
I love Corn Bread !! sweet not salty its the best esp with seafood on ice ... Shrimp Cajun Style - Peel n Eat.  A must have as well is " Hush Puppies" Oh my gawd Um Yum. 
Throw in some kale, collard greens and Mac and Cheese
Called Southern Comfort - --- Omygoodness.

When that happens do you have to go in the basement or a certain part of the house? We would have to go in the basement when the alarm would go off.

Me too!!!!  I almost lost my oldest a month ago.  It would have killed me.  He was my first dog on my own - we have traveled together every where.  He was my bestest bud for a long time and is just such a sweet little guy!

Poor ANJM, I know she feels the same about Chrystol.

Me too!!!!  I almost lost my oldest a month ago.  It would have killed me.  He was my first dog on my own - we have traveled together every where.  He was my bestest bud for a long time and is just such a sweet little guy!

Poor ANJM, I know she feels the same about Chrystol.

Yep,around here you go to a basement or storm shelter.I don't have a basement in this house.I did in my other house.We do have a small section under the house to go.If I sell this place  I'll try to buy a house with a basement.If not,I'll have a storm shelter set in place.
I have a friend who has a trap door in one of his closets that leads to a safe room/beer storage room.It is really cool.   

Wind isn't really bad right now.It's the lightening.   
My sister just called.She went to the church for the internment.My best friend,fell out.I knew that was coming.Some one slipped the mom a Xanax so she did o.k.
Come to think of it,maybe they slipped my friend a Xanax.She can't take meds,everything knocks her out.
She is asleep now for a while.I'll walk down there after my granddaughter leaves.Hopefully the crowd will have thinned out.My other 2 best friends have it covered right now.

I like sweet cornbread too...  we eat it hot & buttered with almost everything!  Beans, chili, soup, chicken dumplings, you name it.   The food that packs on the pounds.   Where is the fat monkey, lol.

I pass on the kale & collard greens - just like beer, the smell from those get me before I can get to my mouth !

You know how some cities have tornado horns,etc.Well we don't out here.Kinda rural.
Everyone has a weather radio.keyed into our specific area.Mine has an alarm that goes off and scares the chit out of the dogs. 
If the satellite goes out during a bad storm we can keep up with the weather by radio.
