what I always find interesting about the photos are the body language... look at how Anita is the one intent on what is being said... while pvds is looking at the cameras like he is nauseous at getting caught.

I will say that I don't know about a party.... it's possible.  

But I will say that I don't for one second believe the beach story. I don't think they were ever there.

I wish I could agree with you on this, but I can't. The 2:35 telephone call came from the beach-hotel area.  All the statements converge on the fisherman hut beach area. Croes, the Tatoo, Wever, the casino, were all in the area. The huts were broken into, and a cage, knife , and rope were taken. The gardener says he say Deepak, Joran, the car, in the area at about 2:50 am.

I hafta say I'm agreeing with Spock on this one.

After all, we all know how logical Spock is.

Let's not forget the boat launch north of the Marriott and the one in Malmok where the Gottenbos lived.

Steam Explosion Causes Scare in NYC

NEW YORK (AP) - Fire and emergency crews responded to the scene of a suspected steam explosion near Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan on Wednesday during the evening rush hour, officials said.

The New York Police Department said a steam pipe exploded, and had no immediate detail on possible injuries. The NYPD said it does not appear to be terrorism-related.

A geyser of steam, sometimes white and sometimes brownish, shot into the air from a gaping hole in the street near the train station as high as the nearby Chrysler Building. The air near the site was filled with debris.

Consolidated Edison said there was an operational problem the area and utility crews were responding, but had no more immediate information.

Thousands of commuters evacuated the train terminal, some at a run, after workers yelled for people to get out of the building.

Witnesses reported that their buildings shook.

One thing that bothers me about the Dutch system, is that a prominent businessman that is wrongly arrested can get a huge award, but someone like a security guard is due virtually nothing because "they have no reputation to protect". Thats the way they do it.

U are not nuts wreck.IIRC,I stated it was gcv groping NAH by the pool and later.Koen's house was easy to launch a boat from.I think it was a group effort,that carryed on after the other rapes stopped.That is because joran was in charge.IMO,a group is responsible,but the main perps have been named.None,are you saying the dutch on aruba have small.....naw,I won't go there.I am waiting for two things,Natalee's remains to come home and a trial.

I have never been sure there was a call, Spock.  If we have definative proof, I would revise my theory though.

2:26 am: Joran calls Deepak from his cell phone. The time of this call is stated as 2:26 am by Tacopina, and as about 2:30 am by Deepak's lawyer David Kock (from CTV 5/10/06  and CNN 2/23/06). I do not see the call mentioned in Joran's police statements but am looking.

The group effort was the problem.The pimp code was to rape,film,release.Only now the one or two pimps who couldn't or wouldn't stop were in charge.Were the K2's ever in trouble for violent things,killing animals,or fighting?Joran was and LVR was.Gvc was known to be ADHD and out of control,I rest my case

Something that has stuck with me from early on -- and no one ever talks about or mentions anymore:

I recall that it was said the Van Der Sloots owned a Condo/Time Share that they rented out. It was supposedly near the Marriott/Racquet Club area.  

Does anyone recall this -- or am I nuts? (okay, you don't have to answer that!)

I remember that, and didn't some wonder if they could have taken her there?  Was it *kind of* near where they drained the pond?

To follow-up; why did you select the "Cunucu" houses?
If I recall the VDS "Condo" was supposedly near the "drained pond" area.
The "Cunucu" houses are toward the southern tip of the island.
