They're saying they don't even know if it's a girl. That seems disingenuous to me. I wish they'd just do the DNA tests already.

IMO, it's just their spin.  LE doesn't WANT to have released yet what they do know.  So when something like this slips out, they scramble to cover it with spin.  That's what I see happening anyway.  They likely want to have all their t's crossed and their i's dotted before saying anything that the defense might be able to leap on early.

Sorry if this has been mentioned but did anyone notice on NG that a childhood friend of Casey says that Casey told police to check the area where remains were found? Anyone else hear this? It wasnt said it popped up across the bottom of the screen.

Wouldn't it be something if it is found out Lee killed Caylee and threatened Casy to keep quiet? Not that I think it is possible at all b.c I think it will be found out that he disposed the body but man. It just gets me thinking "What IF." around this thing since he wouldn't give up his prints. There is no other reason why he'd refuse that if he wasn't hiding something.

Does anyone know why DNA tests take so long? For some reason, I have it in my head that they have to wait for the DNA to replicate or something. Does that even make sense? 

DNA tests can be done in one day, depending on the article it is being removed from. in this case it would be easy to dna the body and most likely have the answer..but it is the reason all these motions are still being denied. the longer they take to release the dna information..the defense doenst have a case...so in my opinion theyre going to hold it out as long as they are covering the remains from the woods. JMO

Lisa you are absolutely right, it is most likely on the behalf on her parents...in jail only lawyers and sherriff chaplains are allowed to have private conversations with inmates. That would relieve their concern of their comments or conversations being released.

There is no way that anyone knew where Caylee's body was, because anyone with half a brain would have disposed of her remains much better. That lazy biatch didn't even bother to dig a decent grave for that sweet baby girl. She just put her in a trash bag..............and left her in the woods. Just breaks my heart.

I've read what other monkeys have said about Lee taking down things, ripping things up, etc.  And while I do agree that it takes a huge amount of nerve to do such a thing, and we all look aghast at Lee for doing that, for being capable of doing that, I also have to wonder if everything he does is at the direction of Cindy.  Just like everything George does seems to be at her direction.  We don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but I can just hear Cindy saying something like, 'get out there and yank that down... now!'  Then when Lee and George jump to do her bidding, they look like the assholes, not her. 

On the other hand, it could very well be that Lee and George are responding to things around them on their own steam without Cindy's direction.  Dunno. 

I think you're right....it's Cindys bidding.  She doesn't want any reminders that Caylee is gone.  It's going to be very interesting to see if they even hold a service for the baby.   

It sure will be interesting. 

I've even thought... what if this WHOLE thing has been known by ALL the A's since day one the start, and it's being covered up entirely at Cindy's direction.
