I am sorry SASSY, I see you did address me twice about this. I aplolgize, as I have been hoping around to Caylee's thread and and the docs, and on the Billings thread, where things are breaking. I have not given enough time to posting on any of them.

I would never knowingly ignore you, and I said earlier I was in a sucky mood, so not to pay any attention to me today. I apologize. 

Its ok Fanny.   I'm not in a great mood, either, I guess.   Lunch with my daughters didn't turn out very well.   What was suppose to be a steak salad at Lone Star ended up being a fish sandwich at Checkers because they were fighting with themselves - and fighting with their boyfriends.         I get to have lunch with them every other Friday and look forward to it.   But not when they are fighting.   Not fun.   They want me to referee it all.   Sometimes I just get tired of it and want to lock them up in a room with boxing gloves.

My brother and myself used to fight terribly when we little.My dad got us boxing gloves.We progressed to fists.    We would fight for a couple of hours sometimes.
I beat up all the boys in the neighborhood.
My brother and I never fought when we grew up.I miss him terribly.
Your sisters should be glad they have each other. 
I have a younger sister.....     8 years younger.She is he!! on wheels.I just  play nice.I am Dad's favorite and wouldn't want to risk that position..   

You know Trimm,  I totally agree - they should be glad they have each other.    My three sisters and I never ever fought when we were younger.  We were all best friends.   But I made the mistake of telling my one sister that her husband was abusive to their son and now she hasn't talked to me in years.   I lost my sister because I spoke out against the abusive behavior of my BIL.   But, my parents have thanked me for speaking out because they also feared for their grandchild.   I was the only one that had enough nerve to say something and I've paid a price.    BTW - I am my dad's favorite, too.   

I know it's hard to have those kind of feelings in a family.sometimes you just have to step forward and do the right thing.
I know when my granddaughter was little and my son was in jail on drug charges I didn't think she was old enough to understand at the time.I defended her from all the chit and drama as best I could.Things progressively went down hill and we had to start explaining things to her.She was a lot smarter than I thought.She got it and understood he had a problem.
The worst was when he died.Telling a 7 year old your dad isn't coming home was devastating.She was with me when I found out.Can you imagine? I didn't shed one tear until everyone was in place to take care of her.I have to be honest though,I was at the point to do what ever I needed to do to try and keep her and her little brother away from him.
He would not ever have hurt them intentionally,but the atmosphere was volatile.I cleaned a lotta people's clocks back then.You know the drug scene never involves one person.It's a wonder I still have a home to live in.I pissed off a lot of people,but whatever. 
I admire you for doing what you did.It does take a toll on you though.
I wish all kids had an Aunt like you in their corner.     JSM is good too.

I'm sorry Trimm for your pain. My bff just took away a grand nephew because of the family situation. The kid's whole mouth was full of abscessed teeth. The social worker came and told him what he can and can't do and the laws. He was really confused on the "you can choose your sexual orientation" he was like what is that. She said you either like boys or girls, he said Hannah Montana is HOT! Kids get it and there is no way to sugar coat things. It will only make them angry in the end when they find out they have been lied to. JMO JSM

PS, how do you hand signal a dog to get rabbits? Josef drags me if he sees one.

TAMPA, Fla. – An autopsy shows that cocaine use contributed to the heart disease that suddenly killed boisterous TV pitchman Billy Mays in June, officials announced Friday.

UPDATE: Official documents show the following drugs were in Mays' system -- hydrocodone (Vicodin), oxycodone (painkiller), alprazolam (Xanax), nordiazepam (Valium), benzoylecgonine (byproduct of cocaine) and temazepam (anti-anxiety). Ethanol -- alcohol -- was also in Mays' system.

Dang,his heart probably couldn't take any more.   

Plus he looked like he ate a pound of bacon a day. Sorry God rest his Soul.

I think he was being treated for high cholesterol,right?

That and then some. I think he was supposed to have a hip replacement the day after he died.

  No I stopped before he ran into me. He said he was sorry, but none of them looked where they were going and the skate guard didn't help. So I left.

    I'm so sorry for what you all went through. My husband's youngest brother, well he was married, had a good job, had a wife and two kids. He had brushes with the law for drugs, but then one day he just left, it's been 20 some years, we just figured something must have happened because of all the drugs. He left behind everything, never to look back. We lost contact with his wife, needless to say she is mentally unstable, and we always wondered what happened to the kids. The other day my oldest daughter called and said she found both of them on Facebook, and now there is a connection between them and my daughter. I was very happy to see, they are now in their early 30's, and they look good, actually quite handsome and quite pretty, and am glad they overcame their childhood. An insane mom, though I know she couldn't help it, and a worthless father who just took off and abandoned them. He just got hooked bad with cocaine, I just wish he wouldn't have turned his back on the two kids, and while all of us wondered if he is dead or alive.

Yep,gotta tell them the truth,and push forward.
I'm teaching digger little ques for sit,quiet,etc.Quiet is almost impossible with a doxie. 
I've been taking him to certain areas,and saying key words.He catches on fast.I can point which way to run and he does it.
I've baited a place for rabbits to come to.First he learned the scent,and when he picked up on it I started saying rabbit.Pretty simple stuff.    It's fun.Now that he actually saw the rabbit he knows what to look for.
He is very good with squirrels.He trees them,then barks.If he is alone he will come and get me or hubby.If he sees a gun he goes crazy with excitement.     He has trained us too.

I understand.It breaks my heart for kids.Kids don't get a fair shake as far as I'm concerned.
You remember when I told you about our little Aiden.He was 8mths old when he died.Pure neglect and abuse.He cried because he had an undiagnosed illness,so the x-DIL and her new boyfriend at the time used the kid for a punching bag.My stepson will never get over that.I knew something wasn't right,but she took off with the kid and the next thing you know it's over forever.I've been keeping up with her.She just got out on work release. 
All I got to say is stay away from me.    Child protective services let that baby down.I felt like the whole familt let him down.Now,I will bust a move pre-emtively...to hell with hurt feelings.
It's good that your daughter has a relationship with her cousins.I'm glad things worked out for them.

Sorry, just saw that someone wants video. If my sister comes hopefully she will bring her video camera. If not, we are SOL. My brother was going to use my mom's but it isn't working.

No Rose, glad your daughter found them and the kids are doing well. Sorry about the father and the crazy mother. Sounds like these kids overcame their childhood.

That's funny Trimm, my nephew had one and in the barn my BIL would say "LB get the rats" and he would dig through the barn and you could see the mice still crawling in his belly. GROSS
