No Rose, I love your decorated husa!! My 11 were still outside, but I forgot my cell phone. I will take it out tomorrow and get pics. They really are pretty birds. I wish they would stay here instead of flying south. That is when they get hunted. Not that hunting is bad, I just like them and they eat the bugs on the ground plus they are pretty.

Today is just dragging on and on and on............

And for me with a day off it is flying by - I hate that but I am getting a ton done.

Good for you mission, please you can do my laundry when you are finished. 

I sure can JSM - I am now officially 100% done with allllll the laundry - washed folded and put away - ahhhh that is such a good feeling and it rarely happens when it is all done, I usually have a load or 2 that carries into the week.

It is a good feeling to get everything done. I have one load of laundry left, but I am not in the mood to do it.  I have been reading at Haleigh's and it is doing my head in.    I think I will go to bed soon and watch some old skating videos. I watched 2008 Europeans last night.

I swear after Christmas I am getting Uverse or cable. But with Uverse, it includes my home phone and internet, so that may be the best way to go.

I hear ya JSM - Haliegh and Lindsey's thread make my head hurt.  One load of laundry can wait watching skating sounds much more enjoyable.  You will enjoy having Uverse or cable where you have more channels it is so nice and if they can do your phone and internet all in one package it makes it alot easier.  If I miss you before you go I hope you sleep well - I am making burgers for dinner so I may miss you in between 

Makes my heat hurt too. My home phone and internet are with AT&T, cell phone too (I don't pay for that thank the Lord), but if I can get it all together and have faster internet, I will be a happy camper.  Enjoy your burgers, I am eating my leftover Chinese food. Yummy

Thanks No Rose. That was when he was really fat and needed a costume for a 1 mile run with me. Needless to say, we didn't run all he wanted to do was bark at dogs, and eat the free bagels. That was the only way I got him to stop acting like an idiot. Bagels and strawberries.  Not a good comination.

Yes JSM, there's a federal prison in Bastrop.  And a state park, there's a Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and well, when I think of Bastrop, I think of the lost pines (loblolly pines) and the Colorado River that cuts through there.

  Nite monkeys. I am going to log off and go to bed after I eat. No Rose, get some needed rest or either come to Texas for a vacation. Fanny, you and the rest of you come too!!! I only have two bedrooms, but all are welcome. I have blankets and a couch. No cable yet, but that is my next big adventure. Sleep well my friends and I will see you tomorrow.

Thanks Muffy. I hope I didn't offend you.  I didn't know about the resort. I just remember that Jeffrey MacDonald was in that prison and everytime I think of Bastrop, I think of him.

That is probably the prettiest part of Texas even more than the Piney Woods and Davy Crockett Natl Forest.

I didn't take or see any offense, JSM.  I don't live there or anything like that, so no worries.  I have a friend that bought a small house there years ago and it used to be fun to go visit her.  That was back when it was a small, quiet place.  Now, there's a Home Depot and all kinds of things like that.  The Hyatt Resort is quite fancy.  http://www.lostpines.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp

Hi kids...shhhhhh my family hasn't found me yet.. if they do they will want: computer, my attention, my "skills" or some dam_ thing!!! Came home to pot roat and our garden red potatoes (i actually grew something lol) and carrats ready in crockpot and my dear gma had ALL laundry done and put away..life is good !! atleast at the quiet moment!!
