I wonder if they can do it all in one sentence.. "your honor, we find KC guilty and recommend the death penalty.... can we go home now ! "

If so..the judge should expect a phone call Sunday evening 

I could be wrong..but normally in a capitol case like this there will be the guilt or innocence..the verdict.  Then the next day begins the penalty phase where the defense can ask for mercy and have people say how much they love Casey..and the Prosecution gets their shot at what the victim impact is to the family and friends and their feelings.  Then the jury will decide the sentence...which the judge can uphold or come up with a different sentence.

No one but Caylee was the victim. I do believe george truly loved Caylee and he and the rest of the world will be affected but her loss will not be felt by casey or cindy. casey committed the unspeakable, her agony will be for herself getting the death penalty. cindy will put on an act all the way to the bank. I don't think any family member connected to murder, abuse or lieing to protect a murderer should receive 1 penny. cindy's punishment for perjury should be just that, no benefits from Caylee's name or likeness or murder. Hit the biatch where it matters to her, her bank account

Maybe this was when she found out there would be no mistrial or aquittal?
(I am on meds for inner ear infection,some of it I didn't catch.  )

The extent Cindy took the lies is just sickening.  

I hope someday she comes to the realization that the lies she told to try to save Casey were a total betrayal to Caylee. And then I hope she is ridden with guilt because she won't be able to take it back. Sorry if that sounds mean and cold but maybe I'm a spiteful biotch.

Star I believe Casey was crying when they were discussing Caylee's skull again today(?) in rebuttal. Also there's been much talk that no prosecutor is going to go after Cindy for perjury charges, but I believe that you have up until a year to file charges. I'm not entirely sure though, maybe someone can correct me. I doubt she'll get in trouble

I heard that as well but couldn't decide who said it.  Judge Perry referenced some famous case with the murder of another jodge where apparently there was no body and no known cause of death.

Loved it!

Just because there was no known cause of death, there must still have been a conviction.

Maybe Baez is of the No Body No Case Paulus vd Sloot Law School.

Imagine if all someone had to do was make remains disappear or there be no proof of cause of death on them!

Casey said something to the effect "I can't take it with me.  No!  I can't take anything".  She turned around and started to tell the officer something ''not listening...''  Is there a real good lip reader out there. My hubby is sleeping right now. 

I noticed the officer made sure she did not go back as it appeared she wanted to!

Oh good, Scrappy! I sort of thought that's what she was saying! Wow, if your hubby is a good lip reader, I wouldn't let him sleep!    There have been so many times I wanted to know what was being said throughout this trial!!

Oh, absolutely!  I cannot wait for both the verdict and the sentencing.  This entire trial she's been pretty good about holding in her emotions.  But eventually her resolve will give out.  I'd like to see her crumble to the ground.  While shackled.

I think you're right.  I read on here somewhere that the judge makes the ultimate decision, but he must give heavy consideration to the jury's recommendation.
