I haven't lived in Ohio for over twenty years.  And..I was never a big football fan...although I do sort of watch Notre Dame and hear all about the Colts....I'm a hoosier now..

The news I have from Aruba is that the witness at the end admitted that he lied about the whole affair. He is now in jail and awaiting trial. I spoke to the prosectur and was informed that everyone in that department and in the police corps really believed the man. He only recently, a week ago, admitted that he had lied about the whole affair. What a disgraceful idiot!

I wonder if AHATA had to close the blogs and stop paying people to post negatively in order to come up with enough money to pay this witness to recant his story.  

I think the contract with the marketing company was for one year...so they'll all be shutting down..JMO

That is such an interesting phenomenon, don't know if anyone will be able to confirm one way or the other what's been going down, but it sure is suspicious and interesting.

And for that matter if they all have been controlled propaganda, why closing down now?

Is it really because of the money?

I don't know.  I just think, the purpose of the marketing budget originally, was to offset the boycott issue.  I think, even they can evaluate that tourism has been hit.  Maybe the budget will be deferred to other promotions....and maybe they know they will be closing the case in Aruba.
I don't know.  I just find it odd.  The other blogs are hateful enough that there is no one left to influence.  They are posting each other.

By the way, that's the reason Joran will not be attending ANY legal event in the USA.

But if you bypass their problem there is a good chance that some other unfortunate victim will have to go thru what natalee's family is going thru.  And I don't think anyone wants that.

Hi JuJu - see you made it back in the forum!  I don't know what to think of them to be honest.  Logic tells me it's highly unlikely for alot of reasons that a body would be in that bag.  But, I have been wrong in the past and could be wrong again.

Hey Monkeys.  I posted in a couple of days but wanted to say "hi".  I don't know how much I will be around anymore.  My boss that can't bring in any business laid me off yesterday morning.  I guess it is bad when you lay off your only office, human resources, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, marketing and general gofer person.  He thinks he can do it all.  Say a prayer for me.  Something good is going to happen to me, I just know it!!!  Maybe this is the motivation kick I needed.

I seriousley doubt that Joran will ever be in the US again because he now knows that he cannot be protected here and that someone can get to him .
  And for the fact that any of the three amigoes will talk it will take some factor that makes them feel that they are at great personal risk for their well being in an uncontroled situation .
  Basically theyd have to be afraid for their lives or of being mutalated for real and then they would speak .  
  My own personal opinion would be to get Lil Satish to feel the heat and he'd  blabber like a baby because he would feel that he has the most to lose by keeping silent .
  this may sound barbaric  but it is the truth as i see it .
  I agree with whoever said that the higher ups in Aruba  will eventually have this all taken care of  and think a min , What is the real reason that Joran is not back in Aruba  this summer  is it really just the world cup matches ??  Not !

I am staying home for the weekend because the fireworks scare my dogs so will comfort them as best I can.   They are not much on that kind of celebration.  But I may bring my mom over for a visit, always an adventure.  And plan to fix ribs soaked in vodka on the smoker, slaw, baked beans, etc.  Will be nice.  

I am worried about my kids in the D.C. area.  Anyone from up that way and with any inside information on the Fairfax-Arlington, VA flood conditions?

I wish I could be home with my cats ~ but I have to work that night...  Especially Bink...  He get scared when it rains...  or hears a truck go by...  never mind thunder and lightening ~ I feel so bad for him on the 4th of July ~ thank God there aren't many fireworks here...  Thankfully a lot of people just watch the displays that are put on by the different casinos...  last years was beautiful...

I hate it when my cats are scared because there is nothing I can really do to make them feel better until what ever is scaring them goes away.

Just talking to Bink makes him feel better ~ but there's no comforting him when its storming...   poor baby....  When I go to bed, he jumps up, comes over by me and settles down to suck on his arm, like he's nursing...

When I first got him, he used to do that all the time ~ now he only does it when I go to bed ~ it's like I'm his mother...

Customers tell me that he's really ummmm  emotionally disturbed....  poor thing...  A little girl "found" him when he was way too small to be taken from his mother.  She brought him home to her father's house that has a pit bull...  I used to work with the guy ~ and I told him I'd take the kitten...

He has beautiful blue eyes and has these beautiful "points" type markings...  long hair...  tan, brown, greyish and cream...
