I was away from the computer for a while...

Olivia Zeolla is a senior at ISA, and big friends with Val...runs with the same group of kids.  Didn't see her with the group at at few things but last time I looked judging by the pics from this years Carnaval etc...I think maybe she stayed in Aruba when the family moved to Egypt.    Either that or she's doing some traveling back there.  jmo

Remember...the Zeolla's is where Sebastian was supposedly staying, and the reason Paulus gave for leaving the casino...he had to go pick him up...the night of Natalee's disappearance.

Beautiful girl, and I'm sure they made a lot of friends there over the years but I was shocked to see her still there (or back there) after the family moved.  Maybe she insisted on finishing her senior year with her class...dunno.

WE, Clyde Anthony BURKE and Haydee Azucena NADAL, respectively police sergeants first class at the Korps Police Aruba, former in service at the many appearance criminality District II and last named at the Recherde Coorperationteam Aruba, declares the following:

On June 25 2005 around 11.35 the suspect P.A.P.J van der Sloot was interrogated:  At the beginning of the interrogation the suspect P.A.P.J. van der Sloot was told that he had the right to remain silent.
                           
His statement in Dutch was put on certificate by us and declared the following:

We spoke last time about that Monday night when Joran was at the "Raquet Club", that I only took the bag with me. I am remembering that it was around 08:00pm when I took the bag to Joran at the “Raquet Club”, this was when Joran was walking in the direction of the Marriott and made the announcement that he was going to participate in the “Free Tournament” at the Wyndham that this came up. In my view I even grumbled (expressed concern) on Joran and then went on to pick up Sebastian at the ZEOLLA family. Again I am not sure. This image comes in my head, but I had no reason at that moment to remember any of these things. I had done a lot on automatic pilot. Sure when it came to pickup and bring the kids back. I also don't know the relevance of this fact. (snip)

the statements of 6/18 or 6/23/2005 from Paulus Van der sloot.

He drops that in the 6/25/2005 statement only. (I think)

Aruban divers to inspect site where couple says they saw human remains

(CNN) -- An Aruban police dive team will search the site where an underwater photograph was taken that might show human remains, a spokeswoman for the Aruban prosecutor said Saturday.

The picture has renewed interest in the nearly 5-year-old Natalee Holloway case.

Officials first heard of the picture, taken in October by a vacationing American couple, on Thursday, Ann Angela, a spokeswoman for Aruban prosecutor Peter Blanken, said

"We have received the picture, and the diving team of the Aruban police will start doing preliminary work at the spot where we believe it was taken," Angela told CNN.

She declined to identify the location, saying authorities want to avoid attracting onlookers during the search.

The picture has raised the notion that, if it shows human remains, they could be those of Holloway, an 18-year-old Alabama high school student whose 2005 disappearance while on a graduation trip to Aruba was widely publicized.

Holloway was last reported seen leaving a bar in the capital of Oranjestad on May 30.
CNN could not independently verify the authenticity of the photo nor confirm whether it shows human remains.

Holloway's mother, Beth Twitty, declined to comment on the photo.

The photo was taken by a Pennsylvania woman using a disposable film camera during the first stop on her Royal Caribbean cruise.

Three months after snapping what she said she thought were pictures of colorful fish, Patti Muldowney and her husband said they realized that one picture contained what they believe appear to be human remains.

"When I looked at that photo, I said, 'By darn, that certainly does look like a skeleton,' " John Muldowney told HLN's "Nancy Grace" on Friday. "You can see the skull. You can see where the eye sockets were. You can see where the chin was.

"It's lying flat on its back. And its arms are cradled around. You can almost see fingers. And then on the one sleeve it looks like some kind of maybe clothing that's deteriorating."

The couple, who took the photo to police and the FBI, said it was taken near a shipwreck.
The FBI said Friday that it is investigating.

"The photo has been made available to all elements of the FBI that are involved in this foreign police cooperation case," Mike Kortan, assistant director of the FBI, said in a statement. "Investigative leads are being pursued and the effort is ongoing."

The main suspect in the Holloway case, Joran van der Sloot, remains free. Van der Sloot has made alleged confession-like statements in TV interviews, one of which involves dumping Holloway's body in the ocean after she suffered a seizure on the beach. Aruban judges have ruled there isn't enough evidence to arrest him.

Whether the object in the photo is human remains is still up for debate.

In underwater burials, it is typical for arms, legs and other extremities to be dispersed and for lighter bones to be carried away from heavier bones by fish, wildlife and water, according to Heather Walsh-Haney, a forensic anthropologist.
"It looks as if there's something that may be on top of the skeleton," Walsh-Haney said of the image in the photograph. "That would certainly bode well for preserving the center of the mass of the body and keeping most of it there."

Dr. Marty Makary, a physician who serves on the faculty at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, said he sees mixed signs, some indicating the image may not be a skeleton.

"What I don't like about the photo is there's no spinal cord or vertebral column," he said. "In fact, below this roundish skull-type profile you see a curvature which doesn't really represent a normal spinal column."

The underwater photograph of the sea floor depicts a rough outline that the couple believes resembles a human skeleton, according to the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era, which first published the photo on Thursday.

Patti Muldowney, 62, of Rapho Township, Pa., took the photo while snorkeling off the Caribbean island but "only discovered it after we got the film developed," she told the paper of the body-shaped image in the picture.

"We have received the photo," Angela said. "The problem is that the couple cannot say exactly where they took the picture. They cannot point to the exact location. But someone has now come forward who believes that they know the spot. So we are going to do a preliminary investigation, which means a dive team will be dispatched to that location."

Hi Everyone,

This is in no way a solicitation. In stead it is a request to sign a petition to SAVE Aruba as we know it. 

Many of you are aware that the RITZ Carlton is planning a five star hotel on the island at the Fishermen's Huts beach area.

Today they started clearing the property for a parking lot. The next step is to "beautify" the Fishermen's Huts. The next thing to go will be the windsurfing area. Then the roads will be shifted to allow traffic to pass the construction. There will no longer be a view.

One of the best snorkeling areas will be wiped out. The wind will be cut off so the windsurfing capital of the world will have to try to create another space. The problem will trickle down and damage the infrastructure of Aruba.

We know that some of you will say, it's not my problem. However, if you are repeat visitors to Aruba it is partly your problem. The hotels are being built to house tourists not Arubans. Therefore, it is your problem too.

We don't ask for money. We don't ask you to come to Aruba to protest. All we ask is that you take 2 minutes of your time, follow the link provided and sign a petition. Morning Monks.....my LOCAL news this morning was reporting the reopening of Natalee's case in Aruba.....at the end of the report the dialogue was...aruban investigators will  be conducting a search,...yadda, yadda.....the LOCAL reporter ended with....since the aruba is investigating we already know they will not find anything, or they will say it a coral formation..........and rolled his eyes....there was talk back and forth between the 2 reporters about joran confessing 'several times' and aruba making excuses for him ..even here in the hicks the media knows the aruba will do nothing to bring Natalee home or punish the criminals
