I wonder if Joran is asking to speak to a specific Aruban official.  Does he want to tell them they better help him out or he'll let the house of cards fall.  It it's allowed, it will be interesting to see who shows up. 

If it happens, I guarantee it will be Dolph Richardson.

If it happens he has to have rock solid proof (in writing & emails).  Because if he is just going to blabber people won't believe him and say he is a liar.

I think this is where Anita enters the picture.  Anita has the information but in this case will she use it.  She doesn't have Paul to back her up anymore and she is going to have to call in some hugh favors.

I was thinking just last night that life is changing dramatically for Anita and the rest of her male brood now. I seriously doubt if they will enjoy the broad support they have moving forward.

I wonder why that crackerjack journalist Renfro isn't over in Peru doing live reports on all of this? Why isn't FOX and CNN and HLN just tripping over themselves to put her on the air???

There was a "Pricella" from Amsterdam chatting on the live feed yesterday.....she was supporting Joran and trashing Peruvian authorities. The chatters from Peru were crucifying her. I couldn't translate a lot of the words they were using, but I got a message from a "Silvia" and she said I didn't want to know what they were saying. Very bad she said, and even worse words addressing Joran......

Joran van der Sloot has said it will release the whereabouts of Natalee Holloway
Justice must determine if the victim of citizen Dutchman, Stephany Flores, carrying large sums of money when the casino came the fateful morning of May 30.

After investigating the murder of Stephany Flores, the Homicide Division of the Dirincri manjeja two motives for the crime: the theft and violent reaction from Joran van der Sloot to be discovered by the girl.

"The concerns have seen exchanging money in hand, having seen arriving in a modern truck, seeing her alone. Presumably it was considered to be an easy target to gain an advantage via the theft, "said the head of the Dirincri, PNP general Cesar Guardia.

And is that according to the police, Stephany Flores went on to win up to 28 thousand suns on May 24, had a thousand dollars delivered by his father and purchased between 600 and 700 soles in the morning before he died. However, friends of the girl say that he had no money to play.

Therefore not rule out the second phone, referring to the violent reaction of the Dutchman to be discovered, which is confirmed yet, because the laptop Van der Sloot was not fully revised, as detailed the PNP general.

Judicial complaint with Joran Van der Sloot for murder perpetrated against Flores Stephany

Lima (Peru.com) .- A judge of the court in Time Permanent Court of Lima, Juan Buendia Valenzuela opened mandated instruction for the arrest of Joran Andreas Petrus van der Sloot on suspicion of homicide crimes and against heritage in the form of simple theft, to the detriment of Stephany Ramirez Flores.
 
In the early hours of Friday, Buendía took the general law to the Netherlands national citizen 22 years of age and, minutes later, authorities officiated at the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE) to comply with an outpatient center in a prison.

According to the prosecutor's report, the same that was presented about 04:00 hours, Van der Sloot Ramírez Flores would have killed with the aggravation of having acted with great ferocity and cruelty, as provided in Article 108 of the Criminal Code, paragraphs 1 and 3, which defines the crime of murder.

In an interview with CNN, Canlla defended his department's interrogation and said van der Sloot's confession that he killed Flores was acquired legally.

"The statement was done within all the requirements stipulated by Peruvian law," he said.

But van der Sloot's lawyer, Maximo Alonso Altez Navarro, has told CNN that he plans to ask the judge in the case to strike down van der Sloot's confession, because he was not properly represented when he was interrogated.

Canlla said Peruvian investigators were still waiting for judicial permission in order to investigate the contents of van der Sloot's computer.

"There has to be authorization from the judge to open the laptop," he said.

But already authorities have gathered significant evidence, Canlla said.

Blood stains found on van der Sloot's clothes match Flores' blood type, he said.

"We found blood stains on the victim's clothes, and we found blood stains on his clothes, which, according to biological testing, they correspond to the victim," he said.

Police said in a statement Thursday that van der Sloot presumably attacked Flores to rob her of the money she had won gambling at a casino. The two met playing poker on May 27 and had several encounters before driving together to the hotel where van der Sloot was staying on May 30.

After killing her, the police statement said, van der Sloot cleaned the room in an attempt to hide evidence of the crime, changed clothes and fled with Flores' money, bank cards and black Jeep.

Police said evidence against van der Sloot includes his confession, forensic data, surveillance videos and fingerprints lifted from the crime scene and Flores' Jeep.

Altez, van der Sloot's lawyer, claims he has found indications that the handling of the evidence was tainted, especially the way the body was handled during the crime scene investigation.

But Canlla said there were no irregularities in the investigation.

Van der Sloot, 22, was arrested in Chile on June 4 and returned to Peru the next day.

Canlla said police will likely accuse van der Sloot of committing homicide, robbery and obstructing justice. The two drivers who took him across the border to Chile will also be accused of obstructing justice, he said.

While van der Sloot was never charged in connection with Holloway's disappearance in 2005, U.S. authorities filed extortion and wire fraud charges against the Dutch man this week.

An Interpol document says van der Sloot faces criminal charges in Alabama because he allegedly tried to extort money from Holloway's mother.

A federal law enforcement agent told CNN that a representative for Natalee Holloway's mother who paid $25,000 for information on the whereabouts of her daughter's remains last month was an undercover FBI agent.

Van der Sloot said he would reveal the location of the body and the circumstances surrounding Holloway's death for $25,000 in cash and asked for $250,000 in total, the document states.

The FBI and U.S. Attorney's office in Birmingham arranged for a meeting where van der Sloot was paid $10,000 in cash and another $15,000 in a wire transfer, a source familiar with the case said.

The meeting took place last month, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Birmingham.

Interpol documents show that the $15,000 was transferred to a personal bank account in the Netherlands.

It's unclear whether that money paid for van der Sloot's trip to Colombia and to Peru.

In exchange for the money, van der Sloot showed the representative a house where supposedly Holloway's remains were, according to the document. When records showed that the house had not yet been built at the time of her disappearance, van der Sloot admitted that he lied, Interpol said.

It took a lot of people to hide the information and to plant and maintain the disinformation and many people named and not yet named should be in prison for that.
Some of them may be VERY powerful and you know who they are.
They really could help everybody inside of Castro Prison in Peru.
Joran is to dangerous to have out on the streets... For everybody.

Oh yes, and I am in hopes that he is just the first in a long line of people who will go down over Natalie's death and cover up.

Not sure about that.  I think it may be as simple as him killing Natalee as a "graduation" of sorts in his progression as a murderer.  It was his first victim...a long way from the animals he started with.  If this latest case is any indication, I think it shows just how much the two are potentially similiar.  Again, not sure if it's as complex as some may thoerize...

The news program "American News" said the head of the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE), Ruben Rodriguez Rabanal, visited the night of Thursday the court holding cells to determine the security measures for the transfer.

Maximum HH, Van der Sloot's lawyer filed a habeas corpus action before the judiciary to annul the police investigation into the crime, considering that in the proceedings were violated rights of his client.

The lawyer is encouraged to explain the character of Van der Sloot, who is also linked to the disappearance of an American in Aruba in 2005.

"He's a very strong person psychologically, he is well. It is a poker player, poker players are people who hide their feelings. He always has the same face," he said.

On the other hand, after nine days of investigation, the Criminal Investigation Department has established two mobile in the crime of the young Flores Ramirez. One is the theft, said Cesar Guardia, head of the Dirincri.

"He (Van der Sloot) reports having seen changing coin box, which was on a modern truck, I was alone. Presumably will consider that was an easy target to obtain an economic advantage," he said.

"We hypothesized that lured the hotel" TAC Miraflores district, where he found the body of Flores, on 2 June, said Guard.

He said the second phone is the Dutchman's violent reaction after the girl discovered her past when reviewing the subject laptop in the room, on 30 May.

"According to the Dutchman, threw her against the floor and therefore has a trauma to the skull area. Given that still showed signs of life, choked on his shirt," he explained.

Cesar Guardia said Joran Van der Sloot said he knew the place which is the body of American Natalee Holloway, but said only that version delivered to the authorities in Aruba.

In fact, IIRC, the article I read said agents are still on the island.  So I took that to mean they are still there since the extortion sting was put into play.  So in all likelihood, they have been keeping a close eye on things....

I had a nice, long entry written and it went poof!  New laptop. 

Anyway, the gist was that I really don't think the anniversary of Natalee's death was as influential on Joran as the events of the past few months.  His father's death and family's rejection was hard for him as this was his safety net.  He was frustrated and angry when he got the money and went to Peru.  Then, he played poker, did drugs, and generally hung out in casinos for two weeks losing his money.  Not hard to do when you play high stakes and no limit tables with rich people.  If he lost $1500 or so a day, he'd be broke at the end of two weeks.  I think he saw a kind and sympathetic girl in Stephany and took advantage of it.  He planned to rob her.  However, her rejection of him was the last rejection he could tolerate and he snapped.  I really think under these same circumstances, this could have happened any month of the year.  That is happened on May 30 was actually a bizarre coincidence.  The date may have reminded him of further problems and rejection, but I think the previous few months were more significant.

I have been trying to get in since last night, and cannot stay, so I might be kicked out this time also, but I agree with you.  I do think there was a method to his madness in getting Maintenance/Service to open the door.  I think he "wanted" them to offer to go in with him and have them "find a girl dead."  That is probably why he stayed gone 45 minutes, which would allow someone to go into the room and kill her.  He wanted someone from the hotel/motel to find her and he could just be as surprised as they to find her body there.  That would also give him leverage not to pay the hotel fare that he still owed, if he owed any and he could (later down the road) sue to recover damages done to his psyche by the gruesome event he experienced there.  I don't think the date had as much to do with it as the events leading up to it and I think it was purely coincidental, but isn't that the way Fate often plays its hand.

Ordering the FBI to give details of payment to Joran Van der Sloot

ReducirNormalAumentarImprimirPaul Greene, federal judge Bormingham in the United States, ordered the FBI to make public access everything that made the institution for the delivery of U.S. $ 25,000 to Joran Van der Sloot, in exchange for revealing the location of the body of Natalee Holloway, presumably killed by the Netherlands in Aruba in 2005.
The document asks Green, would detail the agreement that was reached between the court and U.S. police, by which that amount was given to Van der Sloot as a "trap."

We know that the FBI decided to use this trick, taking advantage of the Netherlands, in March, would be contacted by e-mail to Beth Holloway, Natalee's mother, to extort information about the location of the body of his daughter.

The document also revealed that after locating the remains, Holloway would have to pay U.S. $ 225 000 over the Dutchman to know the identity of the murderers.
