So - G&C do not go and see skanky because the big evil media will be mean to them if they go. Poor babies.

It's not on where I live yet.

OOPS - spoilers then!  So sorry!

  Please tell,tell.

Cin still can not answer a question to save her soul (like she has one!  ) - all about how mean the system is to them and how unfair it is. They claim to have Caylee's room still up and they go in there and hang out. Cin would not answer the question about how they would handle it if KC is convicted except to say that  there is not evidence to link her to the crime.

I felt when they were asked did they think KC did (or could have done this)GA did not actually say, NO she couldn't have done this. I felt he skirted around his answer trying to give logic of why she wouldn't have, but could not give an unresounding NO. Of course CA did pretty much say NO. Anyone else know what I mean?

I agree with you - I think that GA KNOWS that she did it but lacks the balls to say so. CA still will not accept that KC did it - but she knows deep down but does not want to admit it.

I can't understand why the network would go to the expense of bringing the three of them to New York for that uninformative, boring, interview.  It was almost like just playing a poor Casey commercial.  You gotta love it when Sin goes into her gentle, soft spoken, alter ego.  I noticed that George didn't get emotional and mad when Meredith said "remains".  Ya think he might just be full of crap?  If anyone deserved to be slapped, it is those two morons.

Don I agree, I believe it was a waste of five minutes. I don't think they had them on any longer than that, and there was absolutely nothing new coming out of their mouths. I did not expect there to be though, but they proved me right, unfortunately. The only good that came out of that five minutes was what I posted above, and that was that GA could not come out say NO! KC didn't do this. He skirted around the answer when asked the question. That's what I think anyway.

Casey Anthony: In touchy-feely ‘Today’ interview, Cindy says she still believes in Casey 100 percent
posted by halboedeker on December, 15 2009 7:57 AM
George and Cindy Anthony had another national interview this morning, and they didn’t have a lot new to say.

Cindy told NBC’s “Today” she still believes in daughter Casey Anthony. Casey is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

George and Cindy said they couldn’t sit through Friday’s hearing, where a prosecutor vividly described how their granddaughter died.  “It was too difficult. That’s why I had to get up and leave,” Cindy told Meredith Vieira.

“It was very hard for us to sit there,” George said. The prosecutor was “just so descriptive.”

Vieira asked why the couple hadn’t visited Casey in 14 months. “We’ve been advised not to,” Cindy said. “Everything we do or say, anything Casey does, any look that she gives or doesn’t give, she’s  so picked apart. Even her tears on Friday, people are just picking her apart.”

Could that be because it was a rare show of emotion by their daughter?

The Anthonys appeared with their attorney, Brad Conway.

The couple said they still believed in their daughter.

“I don’t believe my daughter could hurt anyone,” George said.

“I believe in Casey 100 percent. I know she loved Caylee more than anything,” Cindy said.

Vieira asked if the couple could accept that Casey was behind Caylee’s death.  Cindy said she didn’t believe a full investigation had been done and that nothing ties their daughter to Caylee’s death.

George said they keep memories of Caylee alive by leaving her room the way it was when the child disappeared.

There were no questions about the couple’s tattoos, their cruise, their lack of employment, how they’re getting by without working and their dealings with their private investigator, Dominic Casey.

It was another of those touchy-feely interviews.

They feel. We get it.
That’s not the issue.

I’d like to know: George and Cindy, do you think your behavior is helping or hurting your daughter’s case?

What do you think? What should Vieira have asked?

Good Morning Monkeys!

I just watched the Today Show video, thank you Trimm, and for me, George gave his reason, he doesn't want to believe that they brought up someone who could murder. It's about them now, in their minds.

George, Cindy Anthony Appear On 'Today'
TV Appearance Follows Emotional Hearing

POSTED: 3:39 pm EST December 14, 2009
UPDATED: 8:28 am EST December 15, 2009
ORLANDO, Fla. -- On the heels of an emotional court hearing last week, George and Cindy Anthony appeared on NBC's "Today" show on Tuesday.

The couple talked about their daughter's emotional court hearing Friday. Uncut: Casey Breaks Down In Court

In that hearing, prosecutors suggested Casey Anthony's daughter, Caylee Anthony, was drugged or physically restrained to facilitate her murderer placing three strips of duct tape on her mouth. The tape, they suggested, cut off Caylee's ability to breathe, suffocating the child.

Casey Anthony is in the Orange County Jail charged with first-degree murder in Caylee's death. Caylee's remains were found one year ago on Friday in a wooded area off Suburban Drive by a meter reader.

Casey Anthony maintains that a nanny by the name of Zenaida Gonzalez kidnapped Caylee.

I just finished watching the Today Show and have to say not much new was offered.  Cindy and George are in denial.  Their minds cannot confront the truth of Casey killing Caylee.  My heart still has to go out to them.  It must be a horrible thing to lose your loved ones this way and to deal with the possibility of one person you love with all your heart killing another person you love with all your heart.  I shudder to even think how I would deal with that and I pray I will never know that kind of pain. Thank God they can't be held responsible for the actions of their daughter as it looks like there are so many who would form a lynch mob to hang them all!

Good morning, Monkeys!  I watched the Today show starring the poor misunderstood Anthonys.      I finally figured out the key to this case.  George said he didn't believe someone they raised could do something like this so this means that there is a Casey clone who does these evil things!  She's out there somewhere hanging with Zanny the Nanny, plotting world domination even as we speak.
Seriously, I'll bet there is a doc dump detrimental to the defense coming up, or that they have advance warning of Judge Strickland's denial of the motions.  This media blitz usually follows a defense misstep.  I think Linebacker Lyons tripped up on Friday.

Kids Get A Place To Play At Courthouse Day Care

ORLANDO -- Once again, there's a place to play at the Orange County Courthouse.  A Place for Children has reopened after donations came flooding in to save the day care.

It's a free day care for anyone that has business at the Orange County Courthouse.

“It was a blessing that I could have my time. He runs all over the place, he's full of joy and energy, but I had to get that letter done,” says mother Joy Wray.

For three weeks, A Place for Children sat empty. Funding cuts forced the day care to shut down in November.

A Place for Children needed $70,000. When news spread that it closed, donations came in around $55,000.

The Galloway Foundation, Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation, and the Florida Bar Foundation, among other organizations responded to the need.

But that still leaves a $15,000 shortfall for the rest of the year.

That's an amount officials are confident they'll raise, but they know more is needed for the future of A Place for Children.

“Long term, we really need to see a partnership between the city, the county, the state, as well as private foundations,” said Alan Sheppard, Children’s Home Society.

But that's a concern for the adults.  Today it's about the kids getting to be just that in a not so kid-friendly place.

I noticed the remains thing, too, Don.  Again, they can control themselves when they want to.  I just think they manipulate situations by their inappropriate outburts.  If they act crazy enough, they usually get their way.  Not so much anymore, though.  I think people see through their act.
