We bought some little booties for Brandi when she was younger, thinking they would be great when it is raining to keep her paws dry.

We put them on her, and she tried to walk, poor thing fell down. Was like she thought her feet were gone!

It was sad but funny to watch. LOL We still have them, somewhere. Never worn expect for that one time.

Brandi! I would love to see Zoe in flip flops! NoRose would probably have no hands though if she tried to put them on Zoe. My dog didn't like his paws touched either.

I have a neighbor that has a little palm tree lit up like that with pink flamingos on it, and pink flamingos with lights on them. Every year she does something different, and that is different

That's what she has. We have in the past decorated our palm trees with lights.

  I was just petting Zoe to calm her down from the garbage trucks, she is afraid of the noise.

Aww, I could feel her soft fur now! I miss the smell of a dog (even the stinky smells, well sorta) lol, you probably know what I mean.

Wow Wyks, how amazing, I never heard of a doxie being a service dog before, he alerts for your heart condition and saved your life twice, that is amazing. Doxie's are so smart and make wonderful pets, and service dogs 

Yep!  Doxies are very smart!  And stubborn lil cusses too.     He can get me a bottle of water out of the fridge <we have a towel on the door handle that he pulls to open fridge> and then he's *supposed* to nudge it closed.  He brings the water and runs back to stare at all the food.  LOL  Lil brat. 


He knows before I do when my heart is going to go wacky.  He alerts, and I give him the cue to settle.  <that means I get his warning and take an extra dose of meds>  If I don't give him the cue, he sets up a fuss  <if we're in the public> to alert others who hopefully realize something's wrong.  <i wear a medic alert bracelet>.  And if home he will pull an alarm cord, which calls 911.  He then waits at the door and opens it for the EMTs. <towel on handle for him to pull>  And he's gotten to where he wants to answer the phone too.  Sits and barks at it when it rings, grabs it first whenever possible.  Has somehow managed to hit the speed dial number and called my youngest son once.   I swear he thinks he's human!      

What a  great companion you have Wyks I love reading about our furbabies, post us a pic of him sometimes if you can.

Aww, NoRose my dog didn't like certain clicks. If I clicked the tv off he was ok, but when I clicked the cable box on or off, he'd bolt out of the room. He, didn't like thunder, fireworks, or strong winds. He always tried to climb on my lap, all 75lbs of him. The vaccum didn't bother him much though, and if someone knocked on the door he was ready to attack!
