Hi everyone!  Sorry I missed Tevye's party today but I was thinking of her all day and praying.   

My desktop had to go back down to the office so I'm on the lappy so bear with me as I can't get used to this keyboard.  I also downloaded Mozilla Firefox to try it out.  One good thing is that this puter is FAST!

Seems like all in all it was a good day.  Tevye, sorry the surgery didn't have the outcome that you would have liked and you have a harder road ahead than you may have thought.  But please know that you have much support & love here from the monkey family. 


Some dumb ass's car alarm has been going off for a hour.  How can they not hear it?  UGH!

Mouser just did her job and brought it in the house.  It's dead though.  Yuck!

I just wanted to tell you all what an awesome group you all are. After reading all your post for Tevye this morning with all the music for her. You guys are just awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know how to post the videos or the music. But I have been praying for Tevye and a successful out come from her surgery today. Everyone have a good rest of the day. God Bless

Update on my brother -  he's not doing well.   He hasn't been trying to walk or anything.  He just wants to lay there and be left alone.   Doc said if he doesn't get up and try to start moving, he's going to get pneumonia.  He's still in ICU.      They are saying when he leaves that hospital, they are going to put him in a rehab center for a couple of weeks because he will need help walking and getting out of chairs, etc.   

Sassy, I know you're offline now, but wanted to tell you this:
So far, I have cleaned my room twice, sat in the twig rockers, cleaned my iPod and reloaded it, made phone calls and dreamed of having a smoke. (And for those of you saying I shouldn't smoke...well, WTH, I ALREADY have cancer...no biggie ) I want to keep moving so I'm tired enough to sleep tonight. Also, a nurse has never come to me to offer meds or water, I've walked down to their station and asked them. I might be an invisible patient...I dunno, but I do know that the more moving I do, the faster I'll recover.

It sounds like your brother has given up. Would you like to borrow my steel-toed shit kickers? They do wonders on one's outlook on life! I'm praying for all of you.

Good Evening All!

Well, I made it! By "made it" I mean the good news is that I woke up...that was  big relief. The bad news is that I have to spend the night in the hosptial, with a drain in. The darn Sentinel Nodes did not do their job, so about 8 of them were taken out and shot! The basturds had cancer in them, so that changes our game plan. I'm not sure how, as I didn't speak with my doctor, he spoke with my fam.

but I'm ok. the meds are great, I have a room to myself with wifi, and and awesome twig rocker that is totally not hospital issue, so I'm sitting there instead of the bed. Bed would be more comfy, but chair has a coolness factor.

I did watch a couple of epis of Doctor Who while waiting for my nuclear med stuff and some other stuff (don't remember), and rocked out once they put in the first of the pre-op meds. All in all, it wasn't too bad. Now I just wanna go home. but right now, I'm gonna scroll back and see what kind of party you had for me.

Thanks to you all for your support  I have a feeling I'll be needing more of it, but I know I will never be so scared again. I also know if I need rescuing, there's a few Monkeys I can call on.

(oh, yeah, and I added 25.00 to my iTunes account, and it's all Trimms fault! DH now knows I have one, he didn't say a word about it. Woo hoo!
Also, the nieces and nephews really liked the letter, they all said the humor helped them not be scared. Thank goodness. I'm a big "No Fear" fan!

Fanny! Sorry I missed you and everyone else earlier...I think! I don't remember much about this after noon, so now I will have to read and see if I posted. The posts I made this evening are clear thinking me. Dang, I think I need better drugs!!! I miss you
I plan on milking this cancer crap big time this weekend, whole weekend in bed being waited on  (well, mostly) so on Saturday, can you come out and play? Pretty please? I won't get you in trouble, I promise!
