Another way to look at this:

Joran took Beths money on May 10th, was tipped off by ALE that they were going to detain him (per the FBI). Joran, then fled to Peru knowing they had no extradition rights with Netherlands and Aruba. Joran knew he was on the run, robbed Stephanie and then lost it completely in the hotel room.

That could be, Spock. It would fit in with him not being able to plan 10 minutes in advance of what the heck he was going to do. Joran is kind of the king of make it
up as you go along. Which, as he`s proven, is a catastrophe.

He sent an email on May 29 to his boyfriend asking for money and then when he checked his facebook on May 30 no answer from his boyfriend. He was already broke otherwhise he will not ask for money, Stephany maybe was his plan B. LE can check if the monster called Stephany to meet in the casino.

Hello, Y'all.

I saw the interview with the Flores family; I think it's the only reason anyone even watched Greta.  That family really is made up of exceptionally good people.  I can't believe every one of them said they don't hate that murderer; however, we all hate him enough to go around.

Also, Greta should have had an update stating that the attorney she interviewed had quit his case.

Oh, and Greta is on whatever bandwagon she thinks will get people to watch her show.

Yes, it's all about the ratings.  Now, behind the scenes she may do the exact opposite but what the world sees is what brings home the bacon.

That is very true of Greta Darleen.  I, too was struck by the humbleness and kindness of the Flores family.  I would not be that forgiving.

Oh, and isn't John Ludwig just a tool?

Also, didn't the officials in Aruba show again, just today (not to mention their letting him leave that island when they knew the FBI was closing in on him) that nothing has changed there by postponing/cancelling a meeting with Dave Holloway; still jerking him around and evading dealing with Natalee's case. (or did I misunderstand what happened, which could have happened as I don't understand their system)

Well, you know what, Klaasand, if she's different behind the scenes and compromises her beliefs for ratings, then that says something about her character, too.

That is one of the sweetest families ever-Greta was revolting, but they handled her interview with complete grace.   Her questions & attitude were just awful.  [ Someone should tell her that Scared Monkeys has discovered that Joran left Aruba on May 10th it appears. ]

I just cannot believe she put them on the spot regarding the FBI, as well.  I've had it with her.  She makes Barbara Waa Waa's awkward interviews seem like a cakewalk. Ugh!

She has something up her azz.

Not her, too!

LOL

I was so looking forward to this interview with the Flores family..they are so compassionate.

What the heck..Greta spends a weekend in Lima..and only speaks with them for like 15 minutes.  Her questions have already been answered in the press by the family.  And she was not delicate in her questions..the family is still in mourning.  She is a guest in their home for the interview...has she no manners or grace.

Greta ..you need to take a few courses:

1. Manners in another person's home.

2. Have an interpreter..don't expect them to know your language.

3.  Get a grip..this is not news..this was torture.  The family spoke nothing they had not spoke before.

Greta I am glad you took a shower at the Peru airport, waiting for your flight out.  Very glad they didn't have a hair dryer in the airport shower area.

Why..because who but a cold hearted journalist could care about her own hair after speaking with the family of a murdered girl.

I was looking for a video where Anita refers to Joran as "sporter" today. A poster wanted to see it. Anyway, I ended up watching several, and there was a Nova video where Anita was going on and on about how ALE was being cruel to Joran. "They interview him for as much as 10 hours, and keep asking him where Natalee is buried, and they ask him the questions over and over, etc." She was really distraught. It was interesting to watch at this point.

She's come a long way since then. Choosing Richard Gear over what "sporter" is going through now is a real about face!

The many faces of Anita of the Ditch.

Well, she is a single lady now (egads, I just pictured her in a leotard singing that song), maybe she was hoping for a chance with Dick, Richard.

If I think about it, it really does not surprise me.  Anita is out for Anita, also.  It is all about the way things look, if he is not on the island, she does not have to look at him, she can disassociate from him.  If he is on the island, all her friends know he is there, she also knew her husband had sway, she couldn't lose.  If she doesn't go to Peru, she has nothing to lose, if she goes, she will lose face, she is not the all powerful wizard of Oz, she is just a witch behind the curtain, and will be exposed.  She works underhanded and dirty, not up close where she can be seen, just heard.

It appears to me Joran deep down inside has a hatred for women. He is evil

Well, he was raised by the Bitch of the Ditch.

Kidnapping is somewhat common in Peru. They pick a victim and then take him to an ATM machine. That's all. I read that in a UK embassy document.

Stephany's Dad alluded to that in the interview he did.

That is one of the reasons that stephany had a debit card with 2 or 3 thousand dollars in case if she is victim of those fast kidnaps.

Is it because of who she is?

In Peru does not exist media class or you are rich or you are poor. Most parents open accounts for their kids just in case if they are kidnapped (most of the time they dint kill you in those fast kidnapings). My dad used to do the same with us. Parents in Peru are very protective.

That is frightening.  The kids ransom themselves?  Stephany's Dad said they were waiting for the phone call.  CBB, you thought the animals in your woods were bad.  Holy smackers!

well now is not to bad. You should not go to bad places, you just interact always with the same people  and go to the same places. Most of the time they intercept their victims and take them to all the ATM's can get money. when you don't have a Penny en your account they let you go.

Alabamaanna, I don't know anything about that John Ludwig guy other than what I've read posted here tonight, but I do know that no one in his/her right mind would go around bragging about being friends with that lying, manipulating multiple murderer.

Did Joran know the camara was there?

I don't think so. he walked past the camara holding two coffee cups and unlocked the door. Then, he closed the door and asked the maid to let him in saying he had no keys. The camara showed he had keys just a minute before. The scheme could only work if he thought the camara wasn't on or hr thought the camara wasn't there.

Wait until you watch the video if there is one.  Look at his facial expressions.

I couldn't help but wonder if when she googled Joran's name, SM came up.

Then it probably did for sure.  Right now the major networks are coming up alot because they have been all over the news.

SM knew Nat was the big story... long ago ... in a land far far away.

We were Justice for Natalee before Justice for Natalee  was `cool`

The voice of those who have been silenced, big story or not.  It is not always pretty to be on the side of the innocent.  Those who are guilty throw stones all over the place, while trying to blame the victim.

I really miss Peaches tonight.
