I have always thought that Dominic Casey found Kronk reading meters and got him involved because they knew little Caylee was out there in those woods somewhere and they promised Kronk the reward if he called it in.  JMHO

I think Kronk had to pee and was peeing and kicked the bag and Caylee's little skull rolled out. 

That's it.  Maybe I am boring, but I think it is as simple as that.

If they had his cell records for that long a time period, the defense would question him about each and every time his cell pinged that area.  They would make something out of it no matter what explanation Kronk had for each ping.

Could it be that George and Cindy learned the approximate location of Caylee's remains from either Baez or Casey?

Could it be that that cell phone records may have revealed an Anthony/Kronk connection between July and December 11th?
