Casey later revealed the startling way she trusted other inmates to recommend Baez as her attorney.

"And they flat out asked me if I had anyone yet. I said. 'No,' and his name came up, and I'm like, 'Well, if he's good, could you do me a favor and pass my name along,'" Casey explained.

Way to go inmates. I think someone played a little joke on Casey by recommending Jose Butfuz.

Do we believe this tho?  After all, it was Casey explaining.     And when did she have the opportunity of being around 'other inmates'??  Maybe during processing or something?

If it is true that an inmate recommended him, I'd love to pat that person on the back and thank them profusely!

Awww...thanks, Always. I miss all of you too. Things have been very busy for me lately.

I have a chance to catch up today cause I had a tummy bug all night last night and stayed home from work today. I'm not crazy about the tummy bug, but...hey...anything to lose weight - right?

I hope you feel better soon, BT!  And I hope that cute hat and scarf of yours is keeping you warm.

I just wanted to say that I truly hope something like this doesnt happen with Casey when she does get life in prison,   My ex sister in law had a younger sister that was married to a man named Dan Tabajes,(not sure of the last name spelling)...anyway she was only 13 when she married this man, and she had 3 children by him, he turned out to be abusive and he was also a illegal allien from the phillapeans, when there last child was about a month old, the authorities found him and sent him back to the phillapeans,he pleaded with Joyce to come to him but she said NO. She was staying in the states with her mother and 3 children and she was kinda glad that he couldnthurt her anymore.....well when the baby was about 6 months old,he found away to come back to the US by hiding on a boat and showed up at their house ( bythis time her mother was living with her helping her with the bills and the kids)...anyway they got in another argument because she wanted him to leave and he ended up stabbing both Joyce and her mother......alot of times and cut both their throats......when the police came he had put Joynce on the bed with the 6 month old baby and was laying beside her and they arrested him...He got two life sentences and after servingonly 17 years he is free now and back in the phillapeans, has since remarried and has named his first child that he has had with his new wife after the one he killed........and thats justice for you I guess......

So does Casey think this is just like being in the movie Chicago??
It really does sound like that. Although I doubt Jose can dance like Richard Gere.

What does this mean, when Cindy says to Casey out of the blue, "How come she never got a chance to get the car? Doesn't make sense."    Casey won't answer because she knows she's being recorded.
Then when Cindy asks her if someone else has been in their house Casey says I told you she had a key.

Who is the she they are talking about ?

Am pedaling fast to catch up, if this has already been answered, pls forgive.

Casey said somewhere that she had given 'Zanny' a key to the house.  Am thinking that's who she is referring to here.  Might be wrong.

Could this be in reference to the key Lee removed from Casey's wallet? Or something to do with the 10 keys that Amy says she had made in the text message she sent to Casey??

What on Earth is it about this that stinks?? Who needs 10 keys to anything??

I think the key Casey 'supposedly' gave to (the imaginary.. lol) Zanny, is seperate from the key Lee said he took, which he refers to as being the key to Amy's car.  The 10 keys are seperate from these other two, if I've got it right.

Kinda hard to keep up with all the lies from all the players.

I am just suprised Casey had any friends at all.  Most people I know really dislike liars, especially smug ones!!  I wonder if they even knew how much she lied!

People LOVE liars--as long as they don't know the person's a liar. They love love love sociopaths even more. What they don't like, are "victims." And they hate the person who tries to point out that the sociopath is mean or has hurt others. The sociopath is usually going, "woooo! let's party!" and everyone likes that. In any fight between a sociopath and another person, you will find most people lined up supporting the sociopath, because s/he's confident and smiling, and never introspects or brings them down.

Sociopaths inspire crazy loyalty. Look at dictators--a lot of them are sociopaths. Sociopaths never feel guilty or depressed. They never doubt themselves, never question themselves, and so the people around them don't doubt or question them, either.  People will do anything for a sociopath, and then they're shocked when the sociopath turns around and screws them over.

Just when we start to maybe, possibly see a bit of concern and humanity in Cindy, she pipes up and assures Casey that when they find Caylee and Casey gets out of jail, she does not have to worry about working (as if Casey ever did) and she can just stay at home and "watch Caylee."  How ridiculous.  Cindy is nuts and that is probably why Casey is nuts.

I am not so sure that Casey had any real friendships with mature and intelligent people.  It seems most of her high school friends outgrew her in a hurry.  And since she used people so blatantly, some people like Brittany found out what a liar she was.  Men seemed to use her for sex and then move on to someone else.  Not many have lined up to visit her in jail, and some who first sent her messages may now see just what a liar she is and how quickly she has tried to implicate others or had her mother try to implicate others.  I think Casey is very short on friends now, and so is Cindy.
