no rose: Of course do as your doctor tells you! But know I commiserate with you. I kept hitting my finger as it was healing on everything, and it would swell back up again and hurt! (How does one hit their middle finger? I sure did it a lot!) I think because it was stiff and swollen for so many months, it stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb. LOL So prolly a plastic case covering would have helped prevent that.

JSM: Update on Josef as soon as you can, please!

I'm going to try and drag my carcass over to Walmart and try to find something better to keep my finger straight, because that stupid thing they made at the clinic isn't working  or else I'll just keep a crooked finger.

  I got kicked out of the cage twice in the past 30 minutes.
JSM,I hope you can get off work early and check  up on Josef.   

Da++ workman's comp sent a letter and said hubby has to get his prescription in Gadsden from now on,and FedEx will deliver it.     He only has enough meds to last until Tuesday.Had to call his Dr. and they are gonna clean the caseworker's clock.He takes Lyrica and you can't just stock taking it. They will try to get a rush put on it.
Oh yeah,I am fixing to let the lawyer know about it too.   
I know they are just pushing our buttons cause they want his case closed.
I will punch that B****'s light out. 

I'll take a Xanax too.

This is so upsetting to me the charges that vets and eye care doctors and dentists charge, I know this is 2010 but for Heaven's sake some of these charges just make no sense just for some tests 

It is expensive everwhere you go. I think my vet over charges, but they take care of him so well I don't want to change and go somewhere else. I am blessed that I have the means right now to take care of him. I feel so guilty for dragging him up the stairs last night. 

I am sure when he feels better he will give you a nice little nip on the butt.   

I almost did when they were trying to put him in the cage, I had to leave because he was trying to bite me.

You didn't know that he had that, don't feel bad. They will fix him up and he will be back to his old self  It's a shame, a lot of people can't afford care for their pets, and children for that matter.

  No Rose, I feel sorry for people that can't afford to get their pets well. I hope I never have to make a decision as to take care of Josef's vet bill or not have him around. I have profit sharing that I can take a loan out if anything bad ever happened to him. Sad thing is other people don't have that option. If I ever win the lottery, I want to start a foundation for people that can't afford treatment on their pets, especially the elderly.

Hi Monkeys I don't have alot of time. The laptop is going to run out soon. We are still without power and its getting cold in here. It's pretty bad around here I hope it gets better soon. We have trees down all over our yard, it looks terrible.

JSM So glad that's all that's wrong with Josef.  It will be like a miracle once the antibiotic takes hold which will be quick.  Your little buddy will be fine.

No Rose, if they don't have anything at Walmart, go to a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist, they should have something better than what you are using that isn't working .

I hope the xanax has helped you, it takes the edge off the anxiety, but sometimes when a person is real anxious they don't seem to work as well 

Oh No Rose, it has hit me and I have no care in the world, just having you monkeys to talk to is really helping me out. 

I'm so glad the xanax is working, and us talking to you has helped 

I think I need another one now No Rose. She said he doesn't have pancreatitis, just a bad GI bug. He is staying overnight so he can have an IV, more agressive anitbitotics and other stuff that I can't remember. One thing I do remember is the cost. It looks like it will be between 1,000 to 1,200 dollars. OUCH! Visiting hours are between one and four, so I am going to get off work early so I can go see him.

I have been real busy today, so haven't posted yet.

JSM: I am so sorry Josef is ill, but he is very lucky he has you and you had a vet check him out. He is in good hands, and he is very lucky because of you. You did the right thing, and he will be okay. It is very hard when our pets get sick, I know. Hang in there and think about how lucky the situation is that he is getting help and going to be better! (I know that is hard, though.)

I am glad you get to go see him this afternoon.

We all have been praying/thinking good thoughts for him and you!

Thanks Brandi, it is hard seeing them when they are sick. I am glad the vet that is treating him was there today because the regular one is out. Thanks for all your prayers.

Oh my what are they I just got home.    Hi Bud's Girl  QM is looking adorable.  Brandi I'm not listening to my doctor, and they didn't have anything at Walmart, so when we go to CVS after Dennys they have something that will work better until I go back and see him.
