What I would like to know is how Tacopina would know first hand that Gerald Dompig was fired.  He is admitting right there that the ALE and government are keeping him informed on what is going on with the coverup.

Can you hear it now "OK Joe we took care of the Dompig issue what do you want us to do next".

I can't imagine that Taco Joe has so ingratiated himself with Aruba that they are now telling him all their secrets.   Dompig's work status is hardly Taco's business.

From another site.  According to the Diario article today, Freddy Arambatzis also claims in a statement that Carlo was almost crying saying Joran needs to tell the truth.

Sounds to me like any good cop would be able to make Carlo crack and spill the beans.  Dont they have laws that lwyers cannot LIE for their clients?  Maybe they need to threaten some action against Carlo to get him to spill it !!

That's what I thought, too.  Maybe Dompig was tossed because he couldn't "SELL" this false claim, as Baden came in right on top of this with a medically sound declaration stating that a drug OD death takes hours, making audiences fear something really macabre had transpired, inciting even more revulsion for Aruban leadership.  

Tacopina's performance last nite was strange.  His name-calling and puffery came across as down-right juvenile.  Far from a "professional" performance.

Does anybody have a transcript of the later call in by Tacopina?  I think this one is worth saving: we have the Carlo mixup (is he joran's attorney or not) and the reason for Dompig's firing.  Or maybe Taco just lied throughout (again).

I've been watching a bunch of fiction and fantasy on your show, misstatements. I don't pay any attention to Jossy Mansur, he's an individual whose made this a joke, he's fabricated false evidence, he's been cited by the aruban court for fabricating false evidence he's someone who is on the verge of being senile. So I'm not worried about Jossy Mansur, he's got zero credibility in anyone's book. The prosecution has cited him for fabricating evidence.

Let's get back to what you 're talking about as if it were fact Kimberley, which it's not fact, Antonio Carlo, Joran's aruban attorney didn't say anything to the prosecutor that remotely resembles talking about Joran's involvement in Natalee's disappearance. I've spoken to Antonio in the last several days, he said nothing of the sort, he obviously believes in Joran, he represents him in Aruba, as a matter of fact he was in court last thursday on the 30th of November with Karin discussing the closing of this case once and for all. Karin is not bringing this allegation to any court. Antonio never said any such thing so let's not assume it's fact and him losing his law license when he never said anything.

People misstate truth and fact, starting out with that Dr Phil tape that was doctored, starting out with the false confessions that everyone heard were made from the jail by Joran and the Kalpoe brothers that proved to be false, including the false affidavit submitted by Beth Holloway in her lawsuit against Joran in New York by someone who claimed that Joran was a sexual predator. We had an affidavit from that person who said they never said such a thing and that the affidavit submitted before the Court was false ....

So when we start talking about evidence in this case, let's talk about evidence let's not talk about fantasy like I've heard tonight.

I did ask Jossy why he hasn't come with that tape or the transcript he claims he has of it, why he hasn't given it to the authorities. He said he's going to give it when the case goes to trial, then he will turn it over to the prosecutor's office

I think I posted earlier that it was always my opinion that the meeting with JoeT was planned before the van der Sloots got to NY and were served.  I think he was hired to quash the statements being made about Joran and Paulus by discrediting them and threatening to sue people.  Apparently he is still working on that.  The reason I suspect that C&C and the Excelsior are putting up money is obvious - if Joran is found guilty, they are both culpable since Joran should NOT have been in their establishments and if he hadn't been, Natalee would be alive.

LiLPuma:  In the U.S. the establishments would be culpable, but are they in Aruba?  We've seen how Aruba laws work.  I think the higher ups would protect the casinos, afterall, they have a very important part in the money laundering on that little happy island.

Tacopina's assertions are mixed up and convoluted.  He dredged up past disagreements re: available evidence/affadavits, etc that only people who are really informed about the case would know.  His generaliztions also missed the mark ("...everybody knows that jossy..., etc..."), and this made him appear to be personally insulting Jossy ( and Beth, too, whom he essentially called a liar ) and he offered nothing to back up his claims.

He came off as argumentative, accusatory, and insulting.  Especially when the show is viewed in entirety: he calls AFTER the Natalee piece appears and ends and host Kimberley has moved to completely different subject.  Tacopina's delivery therefore appears and feels out of context, and unrelated, which adds to the hostile perception he delivers.

Tacopina's on-air performances are deteriorating in quality and credibility.

He was awful last nite and Fox host Kimberley really rubbed his nose in it at the end " we call just want those responsible locked up and punished ..."  

It was obvious who she was referring to...

Yes, I heard the same thing a few weeks ago.  Glenda has been posting at FOB.  MF sometimes posts at RU but mostly at FOB, same with Scubajap.  The three are rarely seen at RU but only at FOB.  

For the past couple days all three have been VERY quiet

He displays the manner of a attorney that knows that he has been duped by his client and that he is in danger of his case crashing down around him. The outburst’s are both part anger because of being duped and knowing that people are laughing at him, and also to try to confuse whom ever might be paying attention. But as we always say, and Chuch Noll said it first in 1976……..Talk is cheap…..empty barrels make the most noise.

Conclusion……Taco is a empty 55 gallon drum!
