I haven't read all the documents. How do we know Amy was happy he got rid of the key? Was this something Lee said or Amy?

LA: It was a key that I had never seen before. I know all of our family’s car keys. So it just was easy for me to figure out that had to be Amy’s, Amy’s car key.

LA: The next, yeah (affirmative), the next day she reached out to me and said, “Hey, my key’s on her, probably on her key ring somewhere.” And I said, “I already, I’m one step ahead of you. (Laughs). I already got it. Consider it, consider it taken care of,” so.


okay.. maybe HAPPY was a poor choice of words..but he was laughing and saying he was ONE STEP AHEAD OF HER, consider it TAKEN CARE OF...

you would think she would have told police that lee had her key.... and was saying he was TAKING CARE OF IT....

If I were Amy, I would have pressed charges against Cindy for stealing my money.  And I would have told Lee that it pretty presumptuous of him to destroy my key.

yup... but is it possible to press charges after the BANK gave her (amy) her money back from the check? but the key,, the KEY is just ODD... and i know on NEW CARS those suckers arent cheap to replace!

From the beginning I have said KC was involved in some kind of escort service and that Caylee was somehow hurt or saw something thru her "activies"...and that is how Caylee got hurt. 
I wish that someone would just come out with the story, but I wonder if the reason they haven't is that it has something to do with LE and the case.  They have been told NOT to speak.

atlanta mom...i'm just catching up so if you read this, cracker barrel has a really cute princess set.  i have a 2 yr. and 5 yr. old grandaughters and I bought one for each. they also have individual tiaras, wands, etc.  i bought one pink and one purple.  i am a big fan of cracker barrel and we have lots of them here in middle ga.

i agree with everyone about the key...if it was just a car key, why not return it.  maybe LE should check amy's car with cadaver dogs??

Sorry I wasn't arguing about whether she was happy. Lee has a strange way about him during the interview. Heh Heh all the time, laughing. Something is not right with him. If I were Amy I would be pissed someone destroyed my spare key. JMO

and fwiw, seems that amy has or did have a storage unit.  although lee said to LE that this was her car key. 

and another mystery... seems that during mid-june and on, casey didn't hang out much with amy in person.  could be cuz she was with tony.  or could it be cuz she was avoiding amy?  and if so, why?  they were such 'best buds' and all.

Another odd twist in this case is the Sawgrass Manager's attitude towards LE when asked if Casey had any friends currently living at Sawgrass.  She did not want LE to know about Vicky Aleman.  I will see if I can dig up the documents.  And I don't think Vicky Aleman's interview has been released, either.
